I'm a little unsteady

Dawson nodded his head. "Yeah, kind of lost.. have not been here too long. Trying to make my way toward the pier!" He smiled, and reached out his hand to shake the other male's hand. "I also do not have any friends yet, so it would be nice to have someone show me around, yeah."

Dawson laughed, and shook his head. "Been here about a week. I just got out of the Army, so this is a fresh start for me.." he went on to explain. He did not want to dive too far in depth of his past with a stranger.

Dawson was taken aback when the stranger mentioned that she could show him around. "Yes, I woukd actually love to be shown around. I have no idea where I am going.. I was trying to get to the pier but it isnt working out so well for me..". He scratched his head and looked around him. "My name is Dawson, I didn't catch yours?" He asked while extending his hand to shake hers.

Dawson looked at the woman standing before him, and the coffee that was newly spilled over her. "No, no dont be sorry! M-my fault for being on my phone. I should be gettinf to know the area, not staring at pokemon go.. my guilty pleasure.." he said with a chuckle. "My name is Dawson, and its a pleasure to meet you! I just hooe next time we do not run in to eachother like this.."

Dawson smiled, shaking his head. "Being the new guy kinda sucks!" He exlaimed, looking back at his phone. "I pay attentiom to this probably more than I should... even when it is this beautiful outside." He stuck his phone back in his pocket, and looked around. "I'm Dawson, nice to meet you!"

Dawson woke up later than he had planned, looking over at his alarm clock unenergeticly. He pulled himself out of the bed, and threw on a very plain tshirt, and a pair of joggers. Struggling to find his second shoe, he slid his phone into his pocket and grabbed his house keys. He finally got his shoes on, and went to explore the town. He figured he would make his way toward the pier.. if he could find it. He had no idea where he was going, he had onky been in town about a week. "I'm wandering around like a lost puppy..." he grumbled to himself. He pulled out his phone and stared at the screen as if it were more beautiful than his surroundings. The person in front of him must have been doing the same, because the second Dawson looked up, they collided. "W-wow I am so s-sorry..I'm new to t-t-town" he managed to get his apology out, his stutter coming along with it.
