hello all,

im asking for more funds to take my kitty to a new dermatologist, for a second opinion on her condition. the dermatologist i took her to which was mentioned in my previous post was not as helpful as i wanted, and i left feeling very defeated and not listened to.

the vet hardly looked at her and refused to test her without a separate appointment which was cost $100 to book and the test alone was quoted at $450. after the first appointment was over i was charged roughly $200 extra, so i assume a follow up appointment would be the same.

i don’t want to take my cat back there. she deserves more attention and to be tested for allergens, i love her a lot and she’s so clearly uncomfortable

the prescription medicine i would be giving reese is called Atopica, which does not have a cheaper off brand alternative as far as im aware. the website recommended to me (chewy.com) has the medication available at$58 for a 5ml bottle, if i would like to give it to her a singular time.

i would really appreciate any donations or shares on this post to help me help her have a more comfortable future

Moon 9. Ashenstar died before I got a chance to even look for him. in my head he was put under for a spay surgery but was old and had a bad reaction to the drugs and passed away. sorry to everyone hoping he would come back...
