"SHINO!" Kisaragi hollered from afair, the intensity of his voice only getting deeper as he got closer to his cousin. Tackling Shinonome with a tight bear hug, the archer smashed his cheeks against his cousin's chest. A wide smile adorning his face, he cheerfully distanced himself from Shino's body and reached into his quiver to take out the naginata he forged for him. "Happy birthday! This weapon should be suuuuper sharp! Of course, we gotta test it out! Let's go hunting!"
The moment Shinonome stepped outside, his cousin’s voice could be heard from the other side of the courtyard. He grinned at the sound of it, and turned to face the young archer as he ran full speed towards him.
“Hey, Kisa!” Shinonome said with a laugh, once they’d made contact. He pulled his cousin into a playful headlock, then, and rubbed his knuckles against his head lightly. He only held it for a few moments, though, before letting him go to say whatever it was that he was going to say.
When the naginata was revealed, he took it almost carefully from the other prince, although his grin was still as wide as it had been the whole time. A new spear, and the chance to spend the day with his favorite little cousin? What more could he possibly ask for?
“Aw, this is great! Thanks, little man! Come on, I’ll race you to the woods!”
