hello angels! my nameâs penny but please call me pea since thereâs another penny here ldkkandodn â carrying on! iâm bringing my sweet girl, dawn, to the scene and hoping she kicks as much butt as i do! so hereâs some info/tidbits on ya gal:
dawn grew up with a very loving mother & father!! like when people think of picturesque families in the current era, dawnâs family is it.
because of this, dawn was the riverdale high ideal! straight Aâs, honor roll, almost valedictorian... because even the best get a little lazy sometimes.
you name any after school club, and she probably contributed. her best/favorite was being a vixen. nothing screams cute like a skimpy uniform, am i right ladies? ;) haha.
but once college rolled around, she found herself more curious about the other side of the tracks that the northside only spoke about nastily. and because of her parents, and their kindness and acceptance, she decided to start visiting the southside from time to time to catch a glimpse of a world that was far too different from her own.
after a run-in with the ghoulies, and some almost bruises that she talked her way out of, rumor had it that dawn was going to run away from riverdaleâ little did they know that it only fueled her being there more. nothing to fear but fear itself!
it was after that run-in that she met artemis, and the two clicked in a way she hadnât expected. he was cute & charming & pretty fun to be around. she didnât notice how much being around him brought out a funner side to her. if only she knew the feelings were the same on his end!
itâs during a bad fight between the ghoulies and the serpents that she ends up tending to a wounded artemis one night and the first kiss happened. hello, romance shows! step your game up.
but while all of this is going on, little miss sunshine is still managing her As in college and when she graduated she became a part of the city hall staff as a secretary for mayor mccoy. does she enjoy it? entirely! up until mccoy announces the closing of southside high.
after this happens, dawnâs love for the southside grows more and more. she even manages to become friendly with a few serpents, but the rivalry between the north and south is still a little too strong. with artyâs support, however, sheâs got nothing but hopes for crossing that bridge before it burns.
dawnâs parents, even with the serpent boyfriend, still love her to bits and pieces and she is still nothing but their sweet little girl in their eyes. acceptance is a kindness on its own, right?
all in all, dawn is as sweet and warm as they come but even the sweetest roses have their thorns!
now for the extra details:
dawn, in private, likes to wear artemisâ serpent jacket. for the most part, she tends to wear his shirts or sweaters to school since theyâre comfortable and she likes how he smells.
she wanted to be a nurse for some facility on the southside, but decided to go for secretary for now while she quietly takes a class or two on the side to work her ways towards doing that.
she has a pet corgi, dusk, that she adores. artemis canât stand her and dusk growls every time heâs around, but dawnâs hoping theyâll warm up to each other eventually.
she collects snake jewelry and most green things.
she doesnât have a temper. ever. her impulsive tendencies happen when she gets asked to jump off a cliff into the river, at best.
some people think sheâs a little too sweet, and itâs earned her the nickname candy. does she use it? occasionally. itâs a cute one.
also helps to note that she knows how to fight! she just, you know, prefers not to.
