now to why we're really here. your portrayal since every one of them is so god damn good that I have no idea why you're so hard on yourself. you gotta give yourself some more grace. this is hobby, love. and as long as you're having fun that's what matters. you don't let the stuff that everyone else focuses on when it comes to characters be the only thing you bother with. you take a good long hard look at them and see the little things. the stuff that other people brush off.

She didn't always mind riddles, but they did fill her with a sense of anxiety that she didn't particularly love. "They succeed, no they ... fail. -- Wait..." She paused a moment, looking up and to the right, as she tried to calculate the answer to a question that didn't make sense. Fingers began flying through the air , as if she were doing a math equation, and carrying numbers. Using it as if it were an imaginary notebook.

"You have to have failed... You don't succeed, because your intention was to fail." Mel said with a small shrug, looking at him like she was asking for approval.

Santos acted tough, hell she might keep the act up even now... Jack knew her too well though, could see through the facade almost immediately. One of the things she loved, and hated about him.

Disgruntled patients happened, normally she could handle them. Trinity usually didn't fear them, instead she almost welcomed them. Everyone knew she wasn't exactly nice to the patients that didn't deserve it. Making sure they knew what an asshole they were being. -- Yes, most people judged her for it, but she didn't care.

This patient though, Trinity couldn't get it under control in time. He slammed her against the wall. Throwing his iv stand her way, and hitting her in the side of the head. Blood dripping down her face almost immediately. Unfortunately he was walking by when it happened, saw how she couldn't get everything back in order. Angry and now in pain, this was going to be a fun night.

A soft hiss escaped her lips as he tried to help, wincing, she pulled her head back. Trying to get away from his probing. One of her hands holding the shoulder that clashed against the wall. "I'm fine." She mumbled, clearly lying. "... I don't know how to." She admitted, before a soft sigh escaped her. Fingers gripping her arm almost painfully. "Normally i'd deal with it, clean the wound myself. I'm trying, alright?"

clearly it is confirmed that langdon and his wife worked things out.. but-- i do ship him with other people in some verses, & i don't have a verses page up bc i am lazy.. BUT picture langdon freshly divorced, living in an apartment close to the hospital, just picking up stray dogs every once in a while. I don't know why, but i just think he would. Like, taking them home and keeping them as his own. It might become a problem, he might eventually have more dogs than he has room for.

Sometimes (all of the time) i think about how different Santos and Mel are. Just thinking about the bell, and how excited Mel got to ring it, and how differently Santos reacted. I laugh every time it pops into my head.
