What's the point with being nice and lovely When in the end you get nothing out of it People walk on you and think they can treat You anyway you like because they think you Won't care but don't they know how much it Hurts to be treated as if you're just someone there A nobody that doesn't get any love back so what's The point of being anything when you'll just be Treated that way I rather close my walls and keep to myself then to be surrounded by people I don't even know or don't care enough about me and what happens

There was this time, where I felt trapped I caged myself in, not knowing what it was like to slowly drown in your own self thoughts It’s like where do you look once you’ve gone through every corner trying to find a happiness you think exists but it’s truly not there

When was the last time you ever thought of yourself For once when will it ever be about you ? You’ve given so much to the people you love, but do they do the same for you. Would they care about you too ? You let them walk all over you like a welcome mat not caring how dirty or how many times you’ve been step on When will it be time for you to look at yourself and give an actual smile Not one out of pity or force But a natural smile one where you’re proud to show Not because you want to show people that you truly are when on the inside you truly aren’t.

I tried

I tried to love you, but I can’t I’m sorry, I just can’t forget him When he’s given me so much memories They can’t just go away after a couple of months It doesn’t work that way, I need time to think on. I tried to love you, just won’t be fair to you anymore I thank you for being there for me, you need to stop Telling me to let him go because it’s hard for me right now. You can never be him and he can never be you. Both of you are so different, one hurts me and the other takes care of me. The way his arms felt around me felt so warm yet cold on some days but it’s the space we both needed. The way his lips felt on my forehead and the way he breathed out soft whispers of “I love you, don’t forget that.” Every time he came home makes me still love him. I tried to love you, but I just can’t I just don’t have those type of feelings Toward you and I’m sorry because you love me more than that We can’t control our feelings and who we Fall in love with and that’s why I can’t love you the way you want me to.
