     This guy seemed so serious about school! Pharos kept his head tilted, blue eyes still focused on the other male throughout their conversation.

     “I don’t have any parents,” he told Hibari as shrugged his shoulders. “Nor do I have any family. I’m curious about this strange world rather than whether or not I go to school. Don’t you find this place strange, too? I feel like there’s something…bad about it. The atmosphere feels so…”

     He cut himself off before going off on a tangent, but his previous curious behavior transitioned into a perplexed one.

"You're not making any sense, how can someone not have parents?" He looked angry when asking. No parents? That didn't make sense, it was biologically impossible, right? As for that next part, depending on how you approached it, having 'no family' wasn't impossible... Hibari knew that from personal experience.

"Hmph, of course it feels strange, this place... but I'm no herbivore, so I can win against whatever comes trying to fight me."

     The child only gave a tilt of his head to his questions. The first question was what Pharos wanted to know as well, and the second he couldn’t think of a reason. Subconsciously he grasped his hands together behind his back and kept a grin on his visage. He didn’t want to appear threatening at all when meeting new people!

     “I wish I knew the answer to your question,” replied the boy. “I just…woke up here? I don’t really know. I find the scenery peculiar, though. As well as the humid temperature…”

     At the end of his sentence, he averted his gaze to nonchalantly muse. He was out of a certain someone’s psyche—he was in the real world! But…it looked nothing like it. Well, it did, but the color red was the color most often found through his eyes.

     “I don’t go to school, though,” he added, answering Hibari’s other question.

"Hmph."

Hibari couldn't actually beat someone up for not knowing how they got to this place. Even he didn't know how he got here. Perhaps it was just natural to know why you didn't get here?

The second thing the child said was ticking him off more, though. A child of his age not going to school? That was a disruption of discipline.

"Someone of your age must go to school. If you don't, you'll get behind everyone else and lower the test scores. Where are your parents? They need to be disciplined for not making you go."

Ah, so the accursed death had dragged her off in his arms.

She remembered exactly how, and what happened; Those dreams were so horrible, she hated them so much. They traumatized her until the 25th effect hit the ground. The brown-haired girl semi-wished she could get those effects back, as they would be useful in the current situation she was in, but sadly, before falling off the balcony, she had not had the ability to take them with her into the waking world.

Due to the fact that she never seemed to leave her own apartment, she, in all honesty, wasn’t so sure if this was her original hometown or not. She just knew her original place didn’t have a bloodred sky and certainly wasn’t 80-90+° Fahrenheit. A little searching told her that no matter how hard she tried she wouldn’t be able to see those supposed “friends” she had made in her dreams out here, although she did see some completely unknown people pass by who she did not recognize at all; Yet, of course, there was the fact that she never got out. Maybe she could consider that once in a while.

She despised of the heat, more preferring of the cold over this weather. If she hadn’t been wearing a sweater instead of a short sleeved thing, she would likely like the heat a bit better, but, much to her dismay, she still woke up with the same fluffy pink sweater.

Aware of a presence in the area around her, the tired girl glanced behind her and sighed at the sight of the other. They seemed angered by something, maybe simply grumpy, but overall they just didn’t look too happy. Maybe they just couldn’t accept that they’re dead? Who knows, but Madotsuki felt like finding out.

Although a feeling overwhelmed her and she stopped in her tracks. Her eyes focused at the person in front of her and she saw flashed images; boring images. Ah, so she could see dreams, could she? How odd.

“Your dreams are boring."

He stopped in his tracks abruptly, and immediately turned to the direction of the one who told him that 'his dreams were boring'. Great. Now there were more reasons why he was angry. For one thing, why was this girl telling him his dreams were boring? And how did she know what his dreams were? He was certain that he had never seen her before; Namimori was a small place and he could easily keep track of it's residents.

The obvious conclusion he came to was that she was either an illusionist, or Rokudo Mukuro coming in yet another form to try to piss him off and start a fight.

"Herbivore, how would you know of such a thing? Are you the illusionist here? Or that pineapple?" Still, the world seemed so off, that even he gave her a chance to live. (Also, he usually just intimidated girls so they ran away. He never really had to beat any up, and he didn't particularly feel like starting.) "Give me a reason not to bite you to death.

Where am I....?

It’s the first question that enters her hazy mind; the question lazily drifts around her head as she struggles to stand. Where am I?  What happened? She’s not in her apartment, nor is she in school: nothing looks familiar and everything hurts. She exhales and shakily removes her glasses. She wipes them clean and gasps as she spots the spiderweb of cracks that maps the surface of her spectacles. 

What’s happening? I’m scared….

Her mind felt tangled, mixed up, mussed, but she couldn’t afford to show weakness. She was in an unknown place, and she didn’t know who she’d meet here. If the enemy was stronger than she, well….

L-let’s not think about this. I better get going….

She stood up, and attempted to reorient herself to this unfamiliar environment.

She was quite unlucky, and it must've been because of her cursed blood. First, she was within eyesight of Hibari Kyoya. Second, Hibari Kyoya was feeling quite murderous after having being stuck in what he thought to be an illusion.

"Hey, you." He calls out, voice rough from anger. "What are you doing out of school? Do you need to be disciplined?"

     Pharos was wandering throughout the parallel in search of life, frequently glancing up at the red sky and questioning where he was—until his blue eyes came across Hibari. So there was another living being here! Well, at least the child hoped that he was living and not an illusion. How could he be so sure that he himself was living?

     Disregarding his contemplating, the dark-haired boy leisurely made his way over to the other. His eyes were practically locked onto Hibari; he seemed like a real person. Once he was close enough, Pharos approached from behind in an elusive manner.

     ”Hello,” he started, staring up at the other male while constantly observing.

If Hibari had not been as (semi-)aware as he already was, the kid behind him could have gotten his face blown off, at minimum. Luckily, Hibari was able to make sure this kid (whom he didn't know was innocent or not) didn't end up hurt because of some inability to keep his own guard up. He didn't really like pounding children at all. They needed to have working bodies so that they could attend school and raise Namimori's test scores.

He hoped this child wasn't part of the illusion.... nothing good came out of children in illusions. He'd just have to spend more time with him to find out. And if he was part of the illusion.... maybe he'd accidentally say something that would help Hibari find the illusion's weak point and escape. He started to speak to the child in a stern voice.

"What are you doing in a place like this? Shouldn't you be in school?" He  assumed that it was school time, at least. Even if it wasn't school, shouldn't the child have an adult with him? He frowned, this was all rubbing him the wrong way.

"Where's Namimori!?" The Skylark recognized none of his surroundings. This wasn't his home town, his prized school wasn't in sight, and none of his slaves Disciplinary Committee members. His bird was missing, too. After trying to process his individual situation, he started to try and remember how he actually got to where he was. Slowly, his memory started coming back to him. He was chasing a group of children trying to vandalize his school. They didn't think he'd be there, since it was summer vacation, but they forgot how much Hibari loved the place. After he started chasing them... something went and stopped him from keeping after them. That's where the memories stopped. All that remained... was strange.... a feeling that his body was being crushed. Even for someone with the pain threshold and battle experience he held, remembering the pain was borderline unbearable. Not like he knew anything about near-death experiences, but that seemed to be the closest thing he'd ever experienced. But he was too strong to die. He decided to distract himself and think about any immediate problems he may have. After checking around himself briefly, his surroundings looked incredibly unnatural. That red sky.... it seemed like something only an illusionist could make. The pain he thought he felt and the memories that went along with them, that also felt like something an illusionist could make. It infuriated him. Was someone trying to insult his strength with such a thing? "I'll bite those low lives to death..." He growled to himself and took out his tonfa so he could begin patrolling the area. His only goals were to make sure whoever or whatever inhabiting the area were disciplined and to find a way out of this massive illusion.
