On February 12, 2006 I had a guest dj spot at the original "Sunday Skoolin'" weekly hip hop show in Vegas. All true Vegas hip hop heads will never forget "The Cooler Lounge" where Sunday Skoolin' was held down by DJ Steelo, Shanestream, Alpha Q, Duwop Rose, and Edoc just to name a few. On that Sunday morning back in 2006, I found out that my favorite producer of all time had passed away. Whatever dj set I had planned that night was immediately out the window. My dj set was now going to be an all vinyl (pre serato) "Jay Dee" tribute. It was a no brainer in my mind. I try to recapture that moment tonight inside @beautybarlv for @legendsneverdielv JDilla Tribute/Born Day Celebration (at Beauty Bar Las Vegas)
