92% of the population live unfulfilled lives according to the statistics. 92% of people don't live in their purpose. Many of the 92% just don't know how to. 70% of Americans are unhappy at their jobs. 8% of the population knows how to set goals. 3% of the population knows how to achieve them, and everyone else works for them (according to Brian Tracy) These stats bother me. So...I decided to do something about it. I hosted a virtual workshop on GOAL SETTING SUCCESS. Everyone is born with super high self-confidence... Think about it. Babies know no bounds. They want what they want. They want it now, and they aren't afraid to ask for it, unapologetically. No only do they ask for what they want (at the top of their lungs) but they do so fully expecting that their every need to catered to by their caretakers (*gasp!!! The nerve! LOL). Somehow, over the years we lose that gusto. Maybe we have heard the word "NO" too many times. Or maybe we asked others for their "advice" and took it to heart so much that we drowned out our own voice. Perhaps we adopted other people's words and experiences and used them to exacerbate our doubts - until we are left with a willowier, less self-assured shadow of our former selves. ...and we called it humility. Self-confidence is THE SINGULAR MOST IDENTIFYING FACTOR in successful people. Confident people are the ones who feel the fear and do it anyway. They go against the grain, even when its not popular. They stand out in a crowd because they just have that "je ne sais quoi." What most people don't realize is that they all have insecurities too. The same doubts swirling in your head have probably been in theirs too. We all have doubts. We all have limiting beliefs. But the confident ones have conquered self-mastery!!! Mastering all of the limiting beliefs and doing whatever the heck you want, in spite of them! Learn the art of this...and YOU WILL BE GREAT! As an introvert, I know what its like to want to cower in a corner at a party and skip the small talk. But...I honestly wouldn't recognize that girl LOL. REGULAR PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO FAIL...DON'T BE REGULAR For the first time, when I was 21 I admitted to one of my mentors that I was afraid to fail. I was about to graduate college - and I knew I had to start adulting. I didn't want to...adulting meant that I actually had to make some decisions and do stuff. Adulting meant that I needed to answer the nagging voice inside that had been calling me to greatness since I was just a little girl. Honestly, I used to pray that God would make me "regular." I would cry and cry because I just wanted to have "normal people dreams" as I called them. Why couldn't I just aspire to be something easy!!! Go to school, get a job and be done with it! Why did I want to be a superhero!? LOL But… My life is AWESOME!!!! I wouldn't trade it for anyone else's. And yours can be too!!!! What would your life look like 1 year from now if you believed that you could actually make your dreams come true? Moral of the story: Don't be regular.
