Do not send unsolicited advertisements or DM advertisements, whether it is for a server, network, blog, social media, etc. Links to blogs or fics must be kept in the respective channels.
✮ What happens if a rule is broken ✮
Small rule breaks, such as forgetting to add a word count to your post, are not going to be severely punished. You will be asked to add them (and we will check if they are) but after that it’s not a big deal, just try to remember. The third staff key word is sugar.
Depending on the severity of the rule break, one of the following actions will proceed:
Strike after three warnings, or immediate if the action is severe enough.
Monthly prompt or other event ban for a certain period.
Work will not be reblogged for a certain period.
Removal from the network.
Removal from the network and permanent ban.
Three warnings result in a strike. One strike and two warnings result in an event ban. Two strikes result in a reblog ban. Three strikes result in a removal (you will be unable to reapply for the network for six months). Depending on the severity of the rule break, a permanent ban can accompany a removal. You can get a strike or a removal without getting any of the prior penalties.
We doubt we will have to use this system often, if at all, but we still want to make it clear for just in case.
