~A fan story set after the Buu Saga~

I got so many reference images from playing Xenoverse, I love flying around as Kora as much as I love fighting with her!

Despite being a full-blooded Saiyan ,Kora is still 7 and Chibi Trunks can still make her cry!

Was gonna keep trying to draw more Chibi Kora but I also love drawing Teen Kora so I’m gonna share this version too. You see more of her in the story than when she’s younger anyway~

The symbol on her chest is the Kanji for Gohan, taken from Future Gohan in the History of Trunks. Despite Vegeta being her senpai, Gohan is the one who ends up training her, also keeping him shape in time of peace.

Made her on Xenoverse today too and she looks almost exactly the same bar her hair not being in a braid!

Kora and Veggie! Wanted to test drawing the troll and their height difference~

Their relationship is….complicated. Kora still sees Vegeta as her Prince and let’s face it, ‘’Notice me Senpai’’ And although Vegeta respects her as a full-blooded Saiyan, he’s disappointed she’s not stronger, but happy she's not stronger than him! So….yeah.

Goten’s first appearance in the Manga! Chichi’s buying him a smart suit for his first day of Kindergarden/ Preschool. He’s 8. Whatever school you go to when you’re 8...!

Chichi becomes Kora’s temporary guardian and eventually gets adopted into the family. A big part of the reason I made her was because I wanted Chichi to have a daughter.

This is my design for what Kora wears when she’s not training.

Also how it’ll look in the manga. I’m toying with the idea of adding grey or not...

Where Kora always retains her need to fight and get angry, as she spends more time with people like Chichi and Goten she does lighten up a lot. She’s not as cute as Goten, but her comic relief does come out whenever she’s introduced to ‘Earth stuff’.

Kora has a simular design to young Gohan in the Android Saga because I was 13 and lacked imagination apparently, but it stuck!

The later excuse was I was going to have her related to Turles (hense the purple armour), but I don’t think the movies are canon to the main plot. But then again neither is this~ haha

The Story

In short this is set after the Buu Saga but before the 10 year time skip at the end of DBZ. After the epic tales have transpired (hense the name After Tale) my sleeping OC is awoken from a....hypothermic coma and is unbeknowsnt to the passed 36 years of events but is still out to do what Kakarot could not and it’s up to the Z Fighters to set things straight.

This story is more or less light hearted though a big bad does enter it about half way through-ish. It’s a bit of a romance too, basically a simular feel to the Saiyaman Saga.

We’ll see Kora go from confused Saiyan planet destroyer to a High School Teen just trying to fit in and eventually have to help the others save the world from a very powerful new enemy that is connected to Kora.

Making this Blog!

I did a fan story for Dragonball Z with my own character female Saiyan character called Kale/ Kayla about 13, 14 years ago. Dragon ball was one of my very first anime’s I got into and I was new with the concept of ‘‘Original Characters’.

Recently I’ve been put up to speed with the latest goings on of Dragonball, the person who updated me told me that a female Saiyan Kale already exists in something called Dragonball Super, but the story that went along with her should be shared so long as her name is changed.

So, here it is. I didn’t think this little fan project would hit the ground running so quickly, but jesus I have not stopped writing and drawing for the past couple of weeks now. I’m loving how nostalgic this all is, watching the anime, reading the manga, trying to copy Toriyama’s style again and bringing my OC forth from the backburner.

So here I will post art of the now called Kora after the vegetable Okra, or along with a fan manga because why not!

I haven’t watched barely any Super and will try not to least I accidentally have something else in common with the series.

I’m going to have alot of fun with this and I hope you enjoy it too!
