DC Aspec Week is a fandom event to celebrate creators and characters who identify on the asexual and/or aromantic spectrums. Submissions are welcome from October 19th to October 25th 2025, during Asexual Awareness Week.

if I'm being honest I never thought I'd have this by poteto - a 5+1 with mia and connor's relationship!! i love this fic so fucking much, mia is written so well and connor is so in character like !! includes connor coming out to mia in a really well-written scene and so many siblingisms and. this one's really good.

Kitsu_kitkat is pretty new to the DC fandom. I only really started to write for the fandom this year, but Bruce Wayne and his peculiarities bewitched me XD and now I am a Superbat warrior and happy Batfam enjoyer. though I'm new to DC, I have been writing for a long while, the earliest I can remember being 13. I discovered I was ace through fan media and fanfiction creators actually, learning about the identity and identifying with those experiences until I had a name for what I was. Currently, I proudly identify as a biromantic asexual, and I am excited to finish my wips one by one and knock these blorbos against each other like Ken dolls.

Esperata is what may be considered fandom old. She was writing her first fanfic pre-internet on an early word processor and has migrated through Yahoo Groups, LJ, and ff.net before getting to AO3. The journey also took her through discovering queer culture and subsequently identifying as aro-ace, something that most likely wouldn't have happened without fandom. Although she's naturally covered a lot of media in that time, DC has taken up a big part with her primary ships being hattercrow and riddlebird. Esperata is also a mod of @riddlebirdweek, @penguinweek and @riddlerweek.
