In the latest issue of RideBmx Magazine Mark Gralla was ranked as one of the 5 most underrated riders in our world, I shot the picture that was featured in the article and I can not decide if that title is a curse or a blessing. Anyone who knows anything about Street Riding has been aware of this fact for a long time, there is no bullshit to his work. I only skimmed past the rest of the article because I know that no matter who those riders may be they have not accomplished what The Rat has. Tricks are tricks and street riding is street riding. Although as a collective we try to pretend we are all doing the same thing because we all ride a similar looking vehicle it can not be further from the truth. The streets are the streets and Ratkid is using them better than any clip counting goon at the moment. City by City and block by block Mr. Gralla is the best I have ever seen. He is on a rampage around this country with no TM or goofy non riding filmer who is making an “edit”. I knew Mark was the best when I met him when he was a kid and what he is doing now will go down in history, even if it as simple as what he is doing in the photo above.
