i’m back & with a new character ! same thing as before, if you wanna plot with donovan just shoot me a message or like this post and i’ll come to you. i’ve yet to make a plots page for him, so i’ll probably use the same set up as the one over on faye’s blog.

donovan was recently in a serious relationship a woman whom he was married to. he thought she was it for him, and he truly did love her & he still does. but as time goes, relationships change, and his feelings changed for her. they settled upon a divorce & they’re now officially split. thankfully, no kids had been apart of it they had never talked about having kids even after years of marriage.
though, one part about their relationship that everybody else is unaware of, is that donovan was actually having an affair with a man. his entire life he thought he was straight, he had never had even a curious thought ( though, that might’ve been apart of his religious parents doings ), but after a drunken night with a fellow co-worker, he found himself questioning everything. which, happened to be so late in his life, that it scared him.
the wife wasn’t too happy upon hearing the news, and in fact, i definitely see her despising donovan due to it.
he’s a very ethical man, so when the night happened, so he was incredibly guilty afterwards for a LONG time, which is one of the reasons why he came clean to his then-wife. & having an affair is something he never thought he would do. he’s a by-the-books kinda guy, so he always saw himself sticking to one marriage.
now, let’s move onto personality he’s very quick to anger, but he tries to hide it. you can almost never tell what he’s feeling. the only people he truly shows himself to are people he considers close to him. but, if you do tend to tick his nerve, he will blow up eventually. he’s very aggressive, and he’s quick to fight.
he’s very passionate about a lot of things, and can be really easily annoyed at people who talk bad about said things, or someone disrespecting something he believes in.
he’s incredibly strict, and likes things done accordingly whether that be household rules he’s set up, or law rules that everybody should follow.
one thing donovan is, is perceptive, which definitely comes with his line of work. you kind of need to be perceptive being a detective, but, he can always tell if someones off, or if someone’s lying to his face. anything a person tries to hide, he normally figures it out. especially if he’s looking to figure it out. which, will only be done if it’s someone he cares about acting weird, or if it’s something he really knows enough to try and see what’s up.
he can be kind of a dick sometimes, it definitely comes with his hard-ass persona, but deep down he’s p much a huge dork. which, only a select few people are able to see.
donovan is way too sarcastic for his own good.
uh, i’m pretty sure i’m probably missing some things, but this is what i have for him as of right now. i’ll probably create a bio for him and add it to his blog eventually once i get more of a feel for him. i also didn’t want to make this incredibly long. so, you get to know some-what about him & his secret.
