One of these days I’m going to come on in and make it a point to get to know you - make you spill all of your secrets - even if ‘one of these days’ becomes multiple ones! That way I can figure out just how scrappy you are. Dude, I would have a BLAST doing it, so really, it’s not too kind! Plus, people just need to not. One would think common decency was something embedded into people these days.

I don’t think he even tried to steal anything. Or if he did, he’s better than I could ever imagine. He was on top of the pantry when I went to see what the hell was happening! So the obvious answer is that he’s got a secret freezer food stash up there. I wish my cat would make me pancakes! I have a feeling he’d be better at it than me. 

I’m just imagining him with a stock pile of food that he’s stolen out of the fridge, now. One day you’re going to go in there, reach for a can of soup, and down it’ll all come. Wear a helmet when going in your pantry! Could you imagine a cat making pancakes? It would be the cutest, and probably hairiest, pancake you ever did eat.

I’m totally the same! Everytime I open up that draw I just stare at them and think about what I could do with them. If anyone needs any plastic cutlery, we are your people, right? Anyway, I don’t think I have run into you, in person, I’m Frankie. 

Perhaps one day, when we’re feeling exceptionally lazy, we’ll find use for them. Until then, keep saving them up! One day. But yeah, that’s very true! It’s lovely to meet you, in a sense. I’m Deacon, but you can pretty much call me whatever you want. I’m not picky.

I’d be concerned about anyone who truly enjoyed natural disaster type weather. A rainy day is also good for movies, I must say. Any kind of indoor relaxing activity. What’s at the top of your recommended list? That will determine whether I actually want to see the rest of your B-list trash suggestions. 

Have you ever gone outside and screamed into a thunder storm? It can be rather liberating. It can also be a way to teach your neighbors who the crazy one is. Horror movie wise, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!, maybe. It was a good one, and then they made a cartoon out of it. If you’re cool with sexploitation, I’d recommend Bitch Slap. I’m also here for 80s jams in general, and really, I’ve spent too much time watching movies in my life.

Can you even thrift laptops? I honestly don’t know. I haven’t tried. Maybe there’s some half decent ones out there. Maybe! And that way, if someone else ends up in the same situation, I can provide the packets much quicker than having to get them online. Those keyboard covers sound absolutely life changing and I have decided I need one right now. 

I’m sure you can. I know there are some thrift stores that sell old desktops, so there’s got to be a market out there. If nothing else, you can find a discounted one online. Open boxes, Groupon and the like. I’m sure your keyboard will thank you for the cover in advance. Hopefully, you won’t have any other wild spills.

I’m pretty sure the laptop would have been long gone by the time that the gel packets arrived. I will take you up on your offer though and invest in some for the future. The rice did not work, unfortunately! So maybe the gel packets would work for next time. 

That’s very true. I’d like to think, when things like that happen, it’s a means of buying new things! And honestly, I’m always here for new everything... even if it’s a thrifted find. I know most people don’t have a million gel packs sitting around, but hey, any means of maybe saving things in the future! They also do make keyboard covers to stop any liquids from entering them.

I know some people prefer the sun and being able to go outside whenever they want, but to me there’s nothing better than curling up on a dreary day with a good book and a hot cup of tea. I have to say though, given the weather, I’ve gone through far too many books since I’ve been here. I’m starting to run out! Will take any suggestions if you have some.

Honestly, all forms of weather is welcome in my book... aside from the whole natural disaster kind, of course. They all have their own perks! However, a good rainy day does make for welcomed relaxation. I can’t help you on the book front, but do you like movies? Because I can hit you with some must see B-list trash.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get coffee out of a laptop? I may or may not have spilled an entire cup on my keyboard. Emphasis on the may have. Google says to put it in rice, so that’s where I’m at now. Any suggestions are much appreciated - I don’t really want to go and get a new one. 

Rice is usually the go to, honestly, but I think it’s because what most people have laying around their home... because, as you know, rice is life. I’ve heard of people using those little silica gel packets that you find in purses, book bags, and wallets, when you buy them. You’d have to have a bunch of them, but they absorb moisture. Hit up a retailer and ask if you can buy some from them maybe?

Do you think she was completely devoid? They never really said. While the cold may not both her as much as others, maybe she can still feel the different? I have so many questions for Disney now. You can always get warm when cold. Find yourself someone who is willing to go the extra mile to increase body temps! Clothes are far too constrictive most the time. However, it’s frowned upon to dance around naked - and clothes are so beautiful! I bet you could come up with an amazing design for a house. Do you sketch? 

I’ve wondered that since the movie came out, honestly. Does she just look around a bit confused when everyone gets a chill the moment cold temperatures take over? Does she actually feel the snow/ice coming from her? AND if the cold doesn’t bother her, does the heat? I guess she could make herself cool down, or cool others down, but does she get hot or cold when sick? But you do have a point there! Cold still sounds good, but I suppose I need to find someone who runs hot who’s willing to do what has to be done to warm me up... And then my answer may change. I don’t know. I think dancing naked is fun! Just don’t do it in public. I haven’t sketched in the past few weeks, but I’ve got a book with designs in it.

I never understood that either to be honest, especially when it’s a delivery to your house. Maybe they assume since I am not cooking for myself, that I have zero utensils either? But at least the food tasted amazing, that’s the main thing.

I generally don’t use the plasticware they wind up sending, but there’s a drawer in my kitchen that collects them all... So, if someone ever breaks in and steals my non-expensive cutlery, I’m golden. There’s back ups! I’m glad you enjoyed yourself.

Especially because I’ve made it known I’m not the one to get fresh with. That’s why the bat’s always behind the bar right next to me. You’d do that for me? That’s for damn sure! Free shots help make the world go ‘round. I will say you angry could possibly be amusing, but also you seem scrappy, so I can see why they’d be scared at your notion. I would totally do that. I always find it amusing when people with assholish behavior have it turned back against them.

Right?! They may already be huge servings, but that makes no difference to me. I would hate to see the looks on their faces if I were to actually buy food for a large number of people. I did enjoy it all until I finished and regretted my life choices at that moment.

I feel like I’d be the worst at packing out a bag for take out because if it didn’t sound like they were reading the order from a list/script, then I’d assume it was for one person and only include one set of utensils. The family would be pretty much stuck at that point. But then again, I’ve never really understood why they give them out anywho. Do they just assume that people don’t have any of their own?
