Hi, I have a small question.. I know that Karen dies in the Guardian Devil (1998), but is there another story (another artist) where Karen is dying too? Because it seems to me that I saw a picture where Matt stands (!) near the cross and holds the dead Karen in his arms, but I can not find her..
Karen was threatened/injured all the time, because that’s just what happens to the people who hang out with Matt, but her death in “Guardian Devil” is the only scene we can think of that fits your description.
However, this panel has become extremely iconic, and Karen’s death is a major moment in Matt’s story, so it has been reproduced by a lot of later Daredevil artists in various contexts:
