“What,” Charles chokes out, has no idea what Max is on about, he can’t focus-

Especially when Max shuffles closer, crowding him even further against the wall. He continues, hasty and frantic, “This is safer than fighting. We don’t get hurt, no one gets in trouble. We blow off steam with each other. Makes sense, yes? Yes?”

“I-I don’t-”

Before Charles can begin to formulate a response, Max is ducking in again, kissing him again, and Charles is stunned into stillness. . . . or: 2019 Austria GP. With an unsteady sigh, he opens his mouth and finally spills- “I cannot figure it out. If I like men… or if I just like you.” Max goes very still. “Oh… oh, fuck, baby,” Max breathes.
