Hey Disney, let your female heroes speak.
Ok micdotcom where are you getting any if not most of your info? Aurora speaks the fewest lines of any Disney Princess and almost any Disney character only losing to the silent Dumbo. In her film the Fairies take up the majority of the film’s dialogue and plot. As for Cinderella and Snow White they both had women speaking more due to Disney not being confident in their ability at the time to animate men all that well.
As for “Speechless” the only person who goes speechless in their own film is Ariel due to the plot literally dictating that. And strange how we go from which particular characters have the most lines in the film to suddenly how often the entirety of women speak vs men. In Beauty and the Beast Belle has the most lines of dialogue sung/spoken in the film. Ariel despite losing her voice and remaining silent for a good part of the film still ends up having the most lines of dialogue sung/spoken. Anna and Elsa both make up a majority of the dialogue in Frozen with Anna having the most lines in the film.
So that being said I definitly think there should be more Disney movies in which women are playing larger and different roles. But this entire post of yours is beyond misleading.
dreamworks shitdom : Rapunzel and Elsa are so white uuughhh
me : b-but how about Kida and Esmeralda and Nani and Tiana and Mulan and Pocahontas and Jasmine and r-remember when disney openly fought against racism in Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre-dame (y’know with shocking scenes and everything)?
dreamworks shitdom : no no that’s not the same thing
me : a-actually disney explored like 14 non-white ethnicities
dreamworks shitdom : *rubs clit against HTTYD’s white thin cast* I don’t careeee omg Elsa is white !!! Tip has curls 2k15 is dreamworks
ok but if moana and honey lemon are both apparently just slightly tweaked copies of rapunzel like… wouldn’t you think they’d look at least slightly similar to each other as well if that were actually the case
Wouldn’t you also think that Disney, a multi-million dollar corporation with massive animation and design budgets, would design characters that have something other than a heart shaped face, tiny nose, huge eyes, and wide lips? Oh wait, they do, but only the male characters.
Dreamworks ladies sure have big noses and are fat and don’t have kinda big eyes at all lmao
the Dreamworks fandom : Disney is so problematic Dreamworks is the future me : xD
“Disney doesn’t diversify women’s facial structures”

a friendly reminder of how awesome Big Hero 6 is.
Hiro Hamada - Keep going on with life even if you lose your dearest loved ones. - Don’t waste your talent. Use it well. - You can be an ex-bullied kid yet still be a cool kid. - Everyone has a dark side and makes mistakes. - Being a bit antisocial doesn’t mean you will never find good friends.
Tadashi Hamada - Be kind to people, care about people. - Protect your loved ones. - Don’t be afraid of hardwork, even if you fail many times.
Honey Lemon - If you’re already tall without high heels but you still want to wear high heels, wear those high heels even if it makes you taller than men. - Who cares if you’re very tall + very thin. - Being a nerd doesn’t mean you can’t be fashion. - Be cheerful and positive. - A woman can totally be a science genius.
Fred - You can be born from a rich family yet stay secret about it, do non-stop charity work (yep he does !), have 0 sexist or racist prejudice, and wear old nerdy clothes if you want. - It’s okay if you hang out with much smarter friends. - Be passionate, be yourself, be the biggest nerd this world has ever seen.
Wasabi - Being black doesn’t mean you can’t get into asian culture. - A black person can totally be a science genius. - Having OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) doesn’t mean you can’t acomplish awesome things. - But please don’t stop at the red light during a fuckin car chase
Gogo Tomago - “Woman up !” - A woman can perfectly handle a freakin car chase/be badass in general. - A woman can totally be a science genius. - Not showing your emotions doesn’t mean you don’t have emotions. - Be loyal to your friends no matter what. - Hot short thick legs.
Aunt Cass - Single business owner Aunt Cass. - Single “mother” Aunt Cass. - Lost-almost-all-her-loved-ones-yet-keeps-going-on-with-life Aunt Cass. - Childish-yet-awesome-adult Aunt Cass.
Baymax - Protect the child at all cost - You can be both a fat marshmallow and a ninja
This is important.
Better than Frozen 100%
wtf I did not write this post to see those dumb comparisons with Frozen get out lmao (I know this singing ice queen is the worst mistake of the century and that no one should ever worry about anything else, but Frozen does teach very important things to little girls too, take some fresh air)
