DEADLY NIGHTSHADE•ATROPA BELLADONNA
Atropa Belladonna, or commonly known as deadly nightshade, is a perennial member of the Solanaceae family and can be found in woodlands and forests. The shiny beautiful shiny black berries, despite the attractiveness, are toxic along with the foliage of the plant. The plant has a long history as being used as a poison, in some form or another.
Because of this, when using this herb extreme caution must be taken not to intake any of the plant as even in small quantities it can cause hallucinations, delirium and possibly death.
Belladonna can only be used for poisonous purposes, and cannot be ingested. It cannot be used in the kitchen, and must be kept away from other edible plants and labelled carefully.
