Imagine getting home after a long day and as soon as you see your partner, they see you too, and you watch their eyes light up as they stop whatever they’re doing to hug you tight.
the thought of making a house a home with a girl literally will not leave my mind. like picking our bedroom color, what kind of kitchen we’re going to have, our bathroom theme, are we going to have a garden, what type of flowers or foods will we have, will we have a little library or game room? don’t even get me started on painting together and choosing the furniture omg
Imagine coming home after a long day and they just hug you. They hug you in a way that melts all the tension from your muscles, and makes the stresses of the day fade into some distant memory. It’s one of those hugs you feel like you could fall asleep in, but you don’t want to because you want to savor every ounce of it even though you know you’ll get a million more of them
Someday I’ll come home from work with a surprise bouquet of sunflowers for my wife and she’ll come home with a surprise bouquet of roses for me, and we’ll laugh at how hopelessly in love we are. Someday I’ll be baking her gingersnaps, scooping out spoonfuls of dough on the baking sheet while she sits on the countertop and licks the spoon. Someday I’ll be folding our clothes because she hates doing laundry, and she’ll wash the dishes because I can’t stand the feeling of dishwater. And someday I’ll kiss her and kiss her and kiss her and kiss her and kiss her.
No matter how far you are, I will always be glad you exist.
