i used to have a HUUUGEEE list of drs I wanted to shift to - if I had made this post two years ago, the list would go on forever. but ive realised now that i only rlly have one dr that i feel rlly connected to - and it’s my 1d one - where I’m the sixth member of 1d. so that’s my only dr and im content w it :) i have adhd so i hyperfix on stuff rlly easily and then forget abt other stuff - i completely forgot i had other drs and then just realised i didn’t rlly care abt them anymore idk how to put it :( i just didn’t feel connected to them as much as i used to and i feel bad abt it

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the most awful people shift, people with the most disgusting intentions shift, people who actually want to cause harm shift, people who wish to do things that are immoral/unethical/ILLEGAL/outright wrong shift.

If they can shift, so can you. There is no one testing how pure you are, no one is checking where you are on the morality scale, no one is going to look at you and “say yeah no this person is not pure enough, they can’t shift”. Shifting was never about deservingness or worthiness. You can be the most despicable human being (or awareness in this case) and still shift.

Fighting within the community doesn’t actually serve you. You can’t stop people from shifting, you most likely can’t change their minds and the end of the day you just spend your energy of hateful beings instead of living your life in your DR.

The truth is…this app bores me to tears. The shifting community on tumblr is boring and dead. I see the same content on here every day. People who think they’re better than others because they claim they shifted, and are often times lying. A lot of the content is the same nonsense that honestly doesn’t even sound like shifting advice, but like it should be given in other communities. Generic post 1, generic post 2, generic post 3 which is generic post 1 with some razzle dazzle. I just got bored. The people who actually put an effort in their posts are rare to find and often ignored by the same community that says they want more. Being away has actually made me more invested in shifting. I’ve been more into my witchcraft as well.
