Haii!! Had a question about your oc. I noticed that in the past, the General(who you now refer to as Zhang) was apparently a grown up version of a kid named Yaling. I was wondering if that was still canon, or if I'm getting them confused?

It depends on the interpretation, what you see is what you get and what you do with that information is up to you.

Anywho, this is definitely not irl myth personality accurate. But it’s an AU for a reason, and lmk isn’t spot on with the accuracy aswell. Though I did have fun in drawing, especially when it came to the muscles. The facial features on Nezha needs some work though, I will say. I’ll maybe redraw this next year, if this interest makes it to the next year..

I wanted to make it clear that the bead was a divine being, so I threw out all the characteristics of being human out of them (Or tried at least).

I want them to be a stark contrast to Nezha's own humanity, by colorpallet and moral value's. I have some unfinished/unreleased files of them, so I'm dumping it here. Most of these are old concepts though.

What's the relationship betweeen zhang and Nezha?

Their relationship can only be described as complicated. It’ll take me a whole essay form to explain why it’s so messy, and the meaning behind it.

As a unit on the battlefield they’re very compatible. Nezha being on the offensive while Zhang acting as his defense. But when it comes to outside of work affairs, it’s like watching your best friend going through a messy relationship where they won’t let go of their partner.
