Murder Map.

A friend of mine showed me this website a year or so back, and happened to stumble across it again today. I love reading up on a good murder or some kind of commotion. murder map is the best way to waste your work days checking  who has been murdered on your streets.

MIA RELEASES "27". WINO TRIBUTE

MIA has released a track called 27 in memory of Amy Winehouse. The Paper Planes star posted the previously unreleased demo onSoundCloud on Saturday night, following news of the 27-year old singer's death.

"i recorded this song B4 vickileekx and never put it out," MIA wrote on Twitter. "its a unfinished demo." She added, "R.I.P A.M.Y."

On the SoundCloud page, MIA said the track is "dedicated to all my friends that died at 27". Other artists who died at that age include Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, the Doors' Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and former Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones.

According to the SoundCloud page, the lyrics to the minimalist track read as follows:

"Said you're all mouth and no brains  all rock stars go to heaven  you said you'll be dead at 27  when we drunk in a English tavern  the owner poured you the bourbon  and you drunk yourself so rotten  he got so rich he bought a Bentley  and moved himself to Devon

You started dirty dancing  and you bar-tended a dozen  I took you to the clinic  to get you clean but you couldn't  said in two days you're 27 and your destiny was coming  and your papa passed so sudden  and left you with lil' somin'

Another legend dead at 27

I know a lot of people are saying they wernt surprised when they heard Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London flat on Saturday afternoon. I found it a total shock, as she had gone off the radar for a while (i was hoping she would be releasing a new album) I kind of assumed she was doing better.

Amy Winehouse was nearly more famous for her drink/drug addiction and off the rail lifestyle. But now the controversial icon is dead, lets hope we remember her for being one of Englands greatest talents.
