Usually I don't do this, but I've been pretty obsessively writing, so have an excerpt from my most recent ✨Project✨(ha ha, get it, I'm so funny)

I don’t like cooking. Maybe that’s just because I can’t be bothered to make the effort when it’s just me. Still, now I’m standing behind the stove, making pancakes. I’m not even a breakfast person myself. I just wanted Simon to have something nice to wake up too. An arm wraps around my waist from behind and a nose presses into my shoulder. “You’re still here.” His voice is thick from sleep. “When I woke up, I thought-” I half turn. “I’m not going anywhere Si.” “Mmmh, you better not.” “I promise.” I kiss him softly. In truth, I dread having to get up tomorrow, without him being there. But I push the thought away, because there is no point in worrying about that now, not when he’s right there, holding me like I’m the most precious thing in the world.
