Laurie accepts Sam’s hug and, feeling a little awkward, returns it. “Aww. Thank you,” she manages.

“…You know, I don’t know why we met,” she considers. “Maybe it was fate,” she allows with some irony, “but I think it was just chance. I happened to be there.” She absolutely does not address the though that, had she never left that key under the door at the old Myers’ place, nothing might have happened at all. (Besides; Tommy Doyle had been there, too. For all she knows, Michael had been as curious about him as her; and she places no blame on Tommy.)

“I don’t want to die, either.” She nods. She’s not quite sure this Sam can die, but she’s content that he’s human enough to avoid it. “I don’t think it’s bad to be afraid of water.” Laurie thinks Sam looks bashful (if a jack-o-lantern face like that can be bashful). “You know, they say vampires can’t cross it. And anyone can slip in somewhere and- well, accidents happen. I don’t blame you.”

She wisely doesn’t point out that Sam came to her for help with his injured arm; after all, he might have been hurt, but she’s very sure that the other guy came out of the encounter looking a lot worse.

“Hmm, what else am I afraid of…” Laurie grins. “I don’t much care for spiders. But it’s the time of year for critters like that. And bats… Well, maybe not afraid? Because they’re very cute. But I got one caught in my hair once…” She shudders.

Sam listened to what Laurie said. "What so you think, would be now, if you never met him?", he asked. At first he wanted to ask her, what she thinks, what would be if this Michael guy ever got her. After a little thinking he knew the answer already.

When Laurie said she doesn't want to die as well, he saw up to her. He didn't tried to kill her but he knew it kinda looked like that, when he hurted her, the day he met her for the first time. "Did you ever met a vampire or something else like that?", he asked again something. Sam looked to the window and back to Laurie up.

"A lot of people are afraid of spiders" When Laurie said that a bats got caught in her hair once, he thought if he ever saw a bat yet. "That's not the right place where the bat should be. Maye it liked you"

Again Sam looked to the window. "Are you tired? You can go and rest a bit. I won't destroy anything", he said while he grabbed a Candy. He opened his mouth and ate it happy.

Sam I wanna ask you something. Have you hang out with other creatures and I Know about the Zombies and the Werewolves, but what about the other known creatures of the night?

Like you said I met some werwolfs and zombies. I only met the Poltergeist and the headless horseman, all the others are to far away

"Maybe he is ugly and is scared that people make fun of him, if they would see him without his mask" Sam stood up and walked to Laurie. "You don't need a mask, you look pretty", he said to her before he decided to hug her.

"Why does he want to hurt you? I mean what happened that he met you? Shouldn't grandmothers stay home at Halloween?" Even Sam would never say it, he wanted to know everything about Laurie. He was never able to talk with someone that long, which was his fault because of his killing.

"I don't want to know how it feels to die", he said and looked up to Laurie. "Are you scared of something else, besides that Michael guy? Are you scared of water too?" Sam didn't know why but he started to feel ashamed, that he is afraid of water. He, the one who is literally 400 years old and Halloween itself.

"But don't worry. Nobody would try to hurt or kill me, because I know how to defend myself" He said, even he already got hurted three times.
