1. No Movement
2. UVW mapping (Seamless un-checked)
3. Spherical (Seamless un-checked)
4. Shrink Wrapping (Seamless checked)
5. Frontal (Seamless checked)Â
So when animating a gradient texture, simply choose your preferable projection setting (my favorite is frontal) choose whether or not you want it to be seamless. Then start animating the Offset, Length, Tiles, and Repetitions. For either the V or U sections. Also note your gradient type will dictate which side will have effect sometimes both sides will come into use. :) hopes this helps and proves useful for making your own awesome creations.
