"Oh, er..." In truth, he'd just been daydreaming. The Three Broomsticks is loud and his mind is on a million other things. Classes, exams, meetings with Dumbledore, and his feelings for a certain redhead. But as he looks over to where he's been running his hand, both he and Ron, who is seated next to him, read out loud:

"SB loves RL," they murmur, just loud enough for Hermione to hear.

"Suppose two students snogged each others' brains out in this very spot, eh?" Ron chuckles, rolling his eyes.

The other two just laugh and change the topic to other things.

None of them guess that this very spot is where Remus Lupin and Sirius Black had their first date twenty years ago.
