What you had to do with Jedi is the ultimate act of love one can have for a pet. He was lucky to have found that in you, and you should just remember that you gave him as good of a life as he gave you. And as long as your love for him is alive he'll never be truly gone

we had to put Jedi to sleep because of the amount of pain he was in and how much his health declined in the past several days I’ve never done this before with a pet and i tried to stay strong and keep it together in there but watching them administer it broke everything in my heart I ran out of the vet office after we said goodbye and they took him and had a really fucked up panic attack in the car none of this feels real the past almost 2 years my routine is checking on him making sure he’s getting physical activity and attention and for several months nursing him to health I keep going to check on him and he’s not there it’s so fucked up I miss him

I don’t think my dog Jedi is going to live past another night or two holding him against my chest earlier rocking him crying telling him it’s okay broke me he’s sleeping peacefully but we couldn’t get a vet appointment until Tuesday and I can’t afford emergency vet my dad who 100% can and the reason Jedis health was so neglected and declined like this is being horrible about it refusing to help out so I’m just trying to make him comfortable id rather fucking kill myself than take him to a shelter to be euthanized but it’s starting to look like the only option if his pain gets any worse
