Introducing Patrick Underwood. OPEN. The deputy mayor of Redwood, who looks a lot like the handsome Mark Ruffalo.  A closeted homosexual, more so due to the fact his colleagues, specifically his superior, the mayor, are distinctly homophobic, as opposed to him struggling with his sexuality. He knows who he is. But also knows he has to hide it, at least for now. But longs for the day when he no longer has to. Especially as he detests liars with a passion and feels like a hypocrite himself. He can spot and sniff out a dishonest person from a mile away, so don’t think you can fool this guy. You can’t. He’s one of the sharpest people you could ever meet. He also has a strong distrust of out of towners. And with his family owning the country club, having a share in it himself gifted by his father, Patrick is well connected. And well liked. He also works as Bureau chief / editor at the Redwood Register as his regular employment.

Introducing Peter Butler. OPEN. A scientist and the head of Project Astra, who looks a lot like the handsome Anthony Hopkins.  Leading a team of people in the lower, underground levels of Red Meadows, who are trying to/believe they can, crack open the veil between this plane and somewhere else. The place & reason they believe so much darkness is drawn to Redwood. Butler and Project Astra is funding the shit out of the asylum to stay there and do their work, so Red Meadows is happy to let them carry on. And to supply them test subjects as needed.

Introducing David Underwood. TAKEN. The teenage son of the Deputy Mayor who looks a lot like the handsome Gaten Matarazzo.   His mother has never been in the picture. In fact, his mother in general is a subject of great mystery around Redwood and has been shrouded in secrecy. Though in many ways in latter years he hasn't missed out on having a motherly influence in his life as he somehow managed to find himself taken under the wing of Nick Hawthorne. He is an avid fan of puzzles. And a complete science nerd., with a very over active imagination -or is it his imagination? . He's an intelligent little butt. And his smart mouth is just a sign that he likes you. It's also a bit of a defense mechanism as he has been picked on in school most of his life outside of his small, but tight friendship group. A summer at Camp Redwood sounds like a dream to him. Especially with one of his friends missing. Being away at camp leaves less cause for his father to question where he is. So he is free to go digging. Getting past thrill seeking camp counselors, is so much easier than getting past an over protective father.

Introducing Cassie Sinclair. OPEN. The 'deceased’ wife of Viper Leader Ace, who looks a lot like the beautiful Amy Lee. Though just exactly what she is to him now technically, is anyone's guess. When the Heretics first rolled into town over two decades ago. A violent and bloody confrontation between the two gangs came to a head when the Heretic leader killed Cassie in front of Ace, and stole her body. Little did Ace know that taking her corpse was not, as they thought, an act of disrespect, not even granting him the ability to bury her. But she was in fact taken to be turned. Sired by the Heretic's leader and becoming one of them. Not knowing the true nature of what The Heretics are, Ace has been unaware of this fact. Until now. With the Heretics set to descend upon Redwood once more...

Introducing Vera Hawthorne. OPEN. The mother of camp redwood owner Magnolia Hawthorne who looks a lot like the beautiful Jessica Lange. a woman of many deep and dark facets. And keeper of hoards of secrets. She is a strong woman. And sometimes cold. But she has had to be. And has always pushed excessively for her daughter to do well. To do better. Not so much in a supportive way. But in a way where Maggie was not given a choice. Failure and mediocrity was not an option. Her daughter is supposed to succeed where Vera herself fell short. Pull their name out of the scandal of having a daughter out of wedlock. But Magnolia has only continued to contribute yet more disappointments by allowing the break down of her marriage. There lurks so much more to this woman than meets eye. And indeed the Hawthorne family history itself. Curious? I bet you are. The full extent of her background and it's dark ties will be revealed to and discussed with her writer upon interest/her being picked up. Something to be chatted out between her and Magnolia's writer.

Introducing Eleanor Wilkes. OPEN. A medical doctor at Red Meadows who looks a lot like the beautiful Catherine Zeta Jones.  Formerly a respected surgeon at a teaching hospital in L.A. Serving a long there. Starting as an intern hoping they'd eventually be specialising is neurosurgery. She made the career choice and transfer request to move to Red Meadows however. Despite it being a much lesser qualified job. And a smaller pay check. Why, you ask? Well, that is quite simple, if you knew her identity before she had her name changed and moved to Redwood. In the fall of 1972, her sister was brutally tortured and murdered. And the culprit just so happens to be incarcerated at Red Meadows. Wanting to make them pay, she is playing the long game. Instead of just killing them outright. She is torturing them, little by little, and has been doing so for a few years now. Death would be far too easy and peaceful an option for the person who brutalized her sister. She needs to make him pay. Over and over.

Introducing Donna Chambers. OPEN. A doctor of psychology who looks a lot like the beautiful Angelica Ross.  Donna is an African-American woman with a strong character and ambitious spirit. She will do anything for science and to find out what makes serial killers want to kill. Donna Chambers has done doctoral work at Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania, both Ivy League institutions. In 1980, she discovered her father, David Chambers, is a serial killer. Donna caught him in the act of murder when she broke into his apartment, suspecting that he is cheating on her mother. Confronting him, he admitted his natural inclination to kill before plunging a knife into his neck, killing himself. This event motivates Donna to study serial killers as she yearns to understand them.In 1984, Donna Chambers was doing research for a Psychology PhD with a focus on serial killers and what led to the noticeable increase in violence in the 70s. She spoke to Ted Bundy down in Florida and pried confessions to two unsolved murders from him. The feds, however, wanted to keep it on the down-low and that’s why no-one was aware of it. During her research, Donna talked to John Wayne Gacy, William Bonin, aka the Freeway Killer, Patrick Kearney, aka the Trash Bag Killer, Robert Hansen, aka the Butcher Baker and revealed that all of them were known for having “their lips sealed”, until she managed to make them talk.She arrived at Red Meadows Asylum to do the same with Benjamin Richter, aka Mr. Jingles, and discussed with him the rise of serial killers in recent years. She becomes so fascinated by him that she is about to set up his escape in order to study him in his natural habitat. After kidnapping Rita, Lucy’s would be mentor, Donna stole her identity and went to work as Camp Redwoodʼs on-site head nurse for the summer. Keeping up with the fake identity, she claimed she was an ER nurse at Redwood General the rest of year. - they really should have checked.

“What is it?  What makes you tick my sick little pretties?” .

Introducing Felicity Oswald. PENDING. Head of Red Meadows psychiatric department who looks a lot like the beautiful Christine Baranski . They are responsible for the program within red meadows that is studying what makes the criminally insane/violent patients tick, what triggers them. So they are basically signing off on people being abducted (ones who wouldn't/they think wouldn't be missed) and used as bait/subjects for the incarcerated violent criminals & murderers to 'do their thing' on, under experimental conditions, studying them whilst they do it. Her father was murdered during her younger years, spurning an unsated need to study and figure out why and how somebody could do such a thing. She is also the person who signed off on and sanctioned Donna Chamber's release of Benjamin Ritcher. Phase two of the experiment. Releasing killers back into their natural habitat.

Introducing Bertie. OPEN. The crass but good-hearted chef at Camp Redwood. who looks a lot like the beautiful Tara Karsian . Chef Bertie is a former camper who knows where all the skeletons are buried. And we’re not speaking figuratively. She worked at the camp in her youth during the course of the massacre. She wields heavy knowledge of the camp's history. Bertie volunteered as a cook at Camp Redwood after discovering the plans to reopen the camp. She had only beautiful memories related to Camp Redwood, before a "bad apple" ruined everything. She likes younger men, and loves nothing better than a playful little flirt with the handsome male counselors. She also never forgets a thing. You'd be wise to note that. A woman who can memorize everyone's sandwich order, is someone you don't want to forget about...

Introducing Benjamin Darcy. OPEN. An orderly at Red Meadows who looks a lot like the handsome Leonardo DiCaprio. Benjamin is a caring man with a fundamentally good heart. He is not a fan of the place he works or the conditions there. But it puts money on the table. Money much needed to provide for his wife and child. Tired of the brutality he witnesses day after day, will Benjamin finally take a stand? Of course he'll try. But that is just the beginning of the nightmare, when his morals put in danger the people he loves most. Threatening their lives if he speaks up, Benjamin gets drawn deeper and deeper into the real dangers at Red Meadows, and what is really going on there.,

Introducing Lachlan Tate. OPEN. A hot shot lawyer and gay rights activist, working for a rival firm to Turner & Son(s), the legal firm owned by prestigious Redwood family, The Turners, who looks a lot like the handsome Cheyenne Jackson. There is every possibility the firm in question, and Lachlan himself, are situated in the next town over should that be his writer’s preference. -So he is not directly in the firing line of the gossip mill of Redwood. He is someone on the camp’s payroll, just in case, to protect it from legal troubles, with all those tragedies and, the number of less than whiter than white staff Margaret Booth strategically procured. The need to have a good legal professional on the retainer is paramount. He has had past dealings with Magnolia Hawthorne, hence his hiring, having met her when he handled her divorce. The Turners were far too close to home for her to feel comfortable with delving into her personal affairs, so she sought representation elsewhere. He also handled the inheritance she gained, so he’s quite fond of her as a client. Or more specifically, fond of her bank balance. Making her a client he intends to keep.

Introducing Robbie Hawthorne. TAKEN. The son of the town sheriff, and Magnolia Hawthorne, who looks a lot like the handsome Joe Keery. The rich kid, popular boy. Robbie feels a certain amount of bitterness towards both, blaming them equally for the divorce, but is still drawn to work at the camp in some capacity regardless, to support his mother. Partly because he's worried there may even be the smallest fraction of foundation to his father's obsession about the place. What job they actually undertake at Camp is up to the writer. But they also work part time at the video store in town. With the bitterness he feels towards his parents inability to make it work, comes a hint of rebellion. But only towards them. Or in ways he knows will ruffle their feathers specifically. He detests when workers on camp bring up the gossip of the place- Considering he somewhat believes the rumours circulating, though pretends he doesn't. And even more so any of the gossip involving his mother and roguish camp counsellor Johnny. But don't be fooled by the awkward demeanour. He is more than able to defend himself if needs be. With being the Sheriffs son, he has fooled about in the barn firing pistols. So knows how to handle a gun should he get his hands on one...and is pretty hot with a bat too

Introducing Scarlett Sutcliffe. OPEN.   A feisty camp counsellor, who looks a lot like the beautiful Madeline Petsch. The lead counsellor at Redwood. The one who is technically in charge of all the counsellors and their schedules. Think of her as head girl. She most certainly does. Scarlett has an artsy flair, and teaches the art or any ‘arts’ related activities at camp. When she’s not bossing the rest of the Redwood team around that is, or telling Magnolia how to do her job. Or centring herself in some sort of attention seeking drama. Her family have always over looked her. So she strives to be an overachiever to compensate. Just as much as she seeks the attention she’s never got from home.

Introducing Erik Goldberg. OPEN.   Drug dealer and groomer that looks a lot like the handsome Darren Criss, who works for gay porn director, Blake. It was Rik who was used to lure in Xavier. Plying him with drugs and feeding his habit, just enough to keep Xav hooked. He also co-starred with Xavier in the gay pornography he shot. Rik & Xave have a love/hate relationship. Though the hate is all on Xavier's side as he still battles to deny his sexuality. Rik is rich, sexy, successful. He has it all. Except the one thing he truly wants. Xavier. And after hearing Xave has ducked out of his contract and bailed on a movie they are supposed to be shooting together, on location at Rik's flashy L.A. Condo, he tracks his AWOL co-star to Redwood.

Introducing Cindy Atkins. OPEN.  The soon to be step sister of Johnny, who looks a lot like the beautiful Sadie Sink. They have a very complicated relationship due to Johnny's issues, and he, being the troubled 'older brother', constantly getting the blame and the repercussions for her acting out. Johnny snubbing the upcoming wedding of their parents, Cindy runs away from home to track him down at Redwood, intending on dragging his ass back with her, in time for the wedding in a few weeks. Little does she know the storm and danger she is letting herself in for. But ultimately it will draw them closer.

Introducing Ted Ridgeway. TAKEN. The owner of Motel Six, who looks a lot like the handsome Freddie Highmore.  Left running and owning the ominous Motel on the road into Redwood. His mom bought the place as a fresh start, away from her abusive lover and troubled past. A new town, a new life where nobody new them. Only she has since vanished and is currently missing. Leaving Ted to deal with the motel alone. An ominous building, popular with junkies, prostitutes and their clients, as well as the vipers. It is rumoured there have been many a ritual sacrifice, or dark ritual performed there by the occultist biker leaders. There have certainly been deaths. Much like Camp Redwood itself, ghosts linger freely on the property. Does the dark energy around the property leave an ominous presence? Have the rituals opened something up? It that what's responsible for the previous violence on the property? And will it claim Ted, making him it's servant? Or simply awaken a darkness in him that was already there...
