I grew accustomed to being without you.

But now that I know I have to be without you it’s tearing me apart every second I’m awake.

63 miles away from home, 7,368 miles away from you and yet I can’t seem to run away. Everywhere I go, you go with me. When I run, you run and sometimes when I walk it feels like I could reach out to hold your hand.

Will I ever be able to walk without you?

Once I shared a picture of the sunset with you and you told me someday we’ll watch every sunset together.

Now you show me all those beautiful colours and teach me the ways the sky can look even though it’s only supposed to be blue.

Tell me, how does it feel to paint the sky?

I keep building a picture of you in my mind that I fall in love with more and more everyday.

I’m afraid I won’t be able to love you anymore when you’re back.

Your world is a place I will always get lost and confused in. I may never understand a single word in your world.
