Hate equals war.

We have it everyday, on the News, Facebook, instagram. The fact is more and more people are hating people, animals, Even things don’t even EXIST. If you are a 90′s kid you and i will both know where we are going. 

We have people who NEVER listen for example Trump. Yeah that old fella. Now he has became so famous because of his way of HATING other people. He hasn’t even turned to the mirror and thought about his ancestors who must of came from somewhere right??? Why bully.... this only makes war. Trump is scary... I’ll say that... He is right down scary... but i only wonder if he could turn it around and stop trying to be the best and stop trying to compare himself to great men of the past and LISTEN to the world. In my opinion he has gone deaf and only wants chocolate cake. 

My point is the people like trump SPREADS hate all around the world. People are terrified of each other therefore bully each other. If we all step back a minute you will find that we are all the same... def on the inside.. we are fighting for what them??? to be right? We have all been given life... which means we are all important. This indicates oh, we all deserves same rights, freedom, happiness and medical care.   

History shows us what NOT to do...then why do i get the feeling that not many are listening in schools??? Hitler anyone? He is known as one of the most evil men on the planet along with  Talat Pasha,  Osama bin Laden,  Saddam Hussein,  Maximilien Robespierre,  Nero  and many others. Basically they hated others of differences and thought they deserved to die which in the end well. Mentally perhaps they needed help but we have war of hate every single day and other people die just for what? to prove a point? to achieve a dream? We need to come together looking at history and and making sure it doesn't happen again. 

We need to perhaps build our minds again in a different direction from hate. towards Love, acceptance and life. Which is what we want to teach our children right.. and live in harmony. No I’m not a hippie... but i do wish less people were hurt in the world because of others hate.   

How can we change before its too late????

Some of my Favorite things

So here are some of my favorite things that I lllloooovee and or inspire me so much. 

 1. Demi Lovato- The warrior of music! I absolutely adore Demi and her style and music. I love how fearless she is especially when it came to talk about mental heath, sexuality, and image. She is a real icon me. When i go though a hard time with my own shit, I turn to her. Thank you Demi for being who you are in today's world! You are a lady of honor and  courage! Which is so hard to find in this society today. 

2. Emma Watson- The magical Witch. Emma has been weirdly like a sister on in the movies since i grew up with her. She has graced all with her kind words and her motivation for change towards equality (Just like Hermionie would). On and off films she seems to be realistic about everything plus she has attended university. She too have great courage as with this photo above- so comfortable within her own skin which many women and men wish were too.  Emma is what are generation wants to be- Heard and respected. Emma- you are always magical as can be. Thank you for allowing me to grow beside you.

3. Riley Elliott - The shark man as he is known, He wrote this book above and changed my whole world. His experiences are also as fascinating as the sharks. He changed my whole outlook and have become passionate about sharks and their history. (I’ll never dive with them, Sorry). Thanks to him i found something to love though one of my troubling times back in 2015. i am so thankful for this book! Because of him i’ll keep spreading the love for shanks (from land).

4. Friends- They may not be real people but this tv show had a huge effect one me. Whenever i’m down. I watch it to have a good laugh again. Chandler is always my favorite along with Joey for his cuteness and charm along with Monica.(The other 3 irritated me slightly especially Ross). I am thankful this was created because it reminds me we all have flaws. Thanks for being there for me. *clap clap clap*

5. Westlife- The broke up. but never in my heart. Westlife songs helped me though tough times. I was also lucky enough to see them play here in New Zealand few years ago. I got though my high school years thanks to these guys. I do hope one day they will come back together.

Why Don’t I want a cochlear implant?

Recently my parents bugging me to join the “Adult cochlear implant program” Just because well i can hear “if” i loose all my hearing. I am not conformable with this for so many reasons. 

- My Deaf cultural identity- I do not see my deafness as a bad thing. infact sometimes i love it. I am constantly in Deaf world and believe that being Deaf is beautiful. There are many avenues to me a member of the Deaf world. Culturally speaking, Deaf normally are fine with no help from hearing aides or cochlear implants and feel no need to be “fixed”  

- I have a Hearing aide which I've always had since age 5... which supports me enough to engage in hearing world and aides me to go though out my day. My hearing aide is powerful enough to help me connect the dots. 

- Cochlear implants are not “Real hearing” In fact its electronic hearing. There is a huge process along with 35.000 dollars and sometimes Cochlear implants don’t always work. The most biggest change is having to go though a operation to get wires in your ears and takes a month or more to heal which also means it would hurt. 

- It would “Sound” different. Some people do not benefit well from Cochlear and sometimes never use them. Most are children or babies who do well with them. 

- I don’t want to do something just because hearing people want to “fix” me Deafness is not  curse. It is our right to be Deaf. Do not force me to become “hearing” or think for one minute this will make my life easier because honestly, It will only make life much more complicated. 

-There are many risks such as:  Injury to the person's facial nerve,  Cerebrospinal fluid leakage,  Meningitis,  Taste disturbances,  Perilymph fluid leak,  Reparative granuloma. Also following with Tinnitus Vertigo or dizziness A skin wound infection, Numbness in the area around the person's ear, Blood or fluid collection at the surgery location Unforeseen complications due to the surgical procedure.

- If i ever do go totally profoundly Deaf i have Sign Language and hopefully hearing will try accept the fact that i do not want a Cochlear  implant  and accept me as Deaf.

Changes are chances

We are never the change. Though our life time we will have different tastes and opinions as we grow older. 

We get so absorbed in worry of what others think and their reaction to your change, You don’t get a chance to sit down and approve of yourself. We are constantly under pressure of media and models that somehow in our brains we seem to think we got it wrong. We place strong judgement of how ourselves and life is meant to because of those pressures. 

For instant: Today I planned to get a hair cut. I say to my love of my life “I am going to get it short” He says to me “Ok, but not a boys haircut” This played on my mind as i was on the train to my local hairdressers. I thought “Well i am a girl i can’t be defined as a guy just because hair cut???”  As i debated this topic in my head i understood as i looked around me on that very train that it is no one job to define me but myself! When this clicked i said to my hairdresser what i wanted. its like a short bob but with side bangs at the side to outline my face. As i walked out i kept touching this change wondering if i made the right decision then it hit me as i gave my love a big hug at the night and told him goodnight. I felt like me... this weird whooshing emotion washes over me i stare at my refection. I like the sense of freedom it brings where i don’t have to tie it up every 5 seconds and it is VERY suitable for summer! 

Changes can be a present from the future as changes help us grow and learn about ourselves. But the change that should stay the same is to trust yourself! our trust for ourselves get lost within judgement of others. Don’t let it. You owe it to yourself to be you because believe it or not one day it might be too late. Changes are chances that can led to open doors to our next page of life. 

I for one, am ready. Are you?

Turned to Tumblr

Honestly people sometimes hate to admit when they are lonely. Lately my partner works all the time..I don’t have any close friends to turn to, so i turn to tumblr to vent. 

When it’s lonely every day my mind starts to stray to a corner of blackness. I do not want to go there but unhappiness gives me push. I try not to put any stress on my partner... but I want a better relationship with him....I’m lucky if i spend 20 minutes with him before he turns to his phone. I feel is phone is more important. he keeps asking “What do you want? What do you want?” I shouldn’t have to keep reminding him that i want him.

Honestly i have been paranoid about the world. Some really fucked up people in the world today... is it possible that humans can work without a brain??? It honestly would not surprise me. Some how people greed and ego gets the better of them and start hurting others based on beliefs and values. 

I’m sure the world has heard what happened in Melbourne the other week where that maniac decides to run down people in CBD just because he wants to hurt the gay community... weirdly enough my Auntie and  Uncle with there kids were in a shop not to far... it could of been them.... 

Foolish people are now put at power because money and color thinking that men have a right on women heath... wrong. 

One day we may not need to talk anymore we will just use our robots. I feel the world has gone backwards in some ways... people lack empathy and love most important time... people do not spend much time on one person unless they get something back.... 

Life can be punch in the guts.

Deaf Club

No job means boring life. As coming out of University with BA in NZSL and Deaf Studies there is not many jobs. Whats next? Volunteer. I volunteered at  Deaf Club as part of my Uni work... Now im going back and work for free till i can get a job. I’m conformable with this as I enjoyed the first time. Mostly will be computer work and helping administration. 

Deaf Club is my second home the place where all Deaf people around the world come also has classes for people to learn NZSL and activity's for Deaf. It’s a little door but better than nothing.

1) Deaf Club is also called Deaf Society 

2) For safety reasons can say whereabouts which one.
