Garden pictures.
I got a few good shots my grandparents garden today. I was surprised as i was using my phone, instead of my DSLR.

If anyone is reading this, i hope you have a good day.
Wandering in the Woods - Drinkwater Park.
~
I went out with a friend, exploring the woods and walking along the river. It was fun, even if we had to social distance and stay far apart. We didn't want to take that risk, so we were okay with it. It was a good day.

Tried to get some photography in whilst we were allowed outside.
I tried to capture the things that interested us whilst we were out. It was something to do and burnt off some energy.
Image Description:
Image 1: My brother wearing a surgical mask, stood next to a destroyed rock structure, what stops cars getting through.
Image 2: A slide/climbing frame that has been taped off to stop children playing.
Image 3: The view of Peel Park from the back of Salford Museum and Art Gallery.
Image 4: A patch of Daffodils.

COVID-19.
I hope that everyone is doing okay in these recent times of panic. Please be careful when going outside or visiting those who may be more susceptible to getting sick.
Stay Safe!
Starting off my exhibition board for college. This is a map of the area i live in. This is to fit to the Strange And Familiar. The board it 8ft by 4ft and it took a while to paint. I am going to pin some post card style images onto the board to show different locations of the map.
~
Edit: This was the finished product. I got a merit on this project. I used postcard style images, that i took myself. I was really happy with this project and enjoyed doing it.
For my most recent unit in photography, our topic is strange and familiar. I chose to do an area near me to make it easier for me and as it is more efficient.
Also because this area has some rather strange things to photograph, yet these are familiar to me.
These are the starting, unedited images i am going to play around with for my outcome. My outcome will be part of a exhibition at my college where I will be given a space to fill with whatever i like, (as long as it fits the criteria). The exhibition will be open to the public on the 12th of march at my college, so family, friends and others can come and view our work to see how we have been doing. Hopefully, it goes well!
Photoshop layers.
~
Currently learning how to use photoshop, and i have been playing around with layering textures, shapes and images. This was the result. Image used was from Salford Precinct.
Heptonstall and Hebden Bridge trip.
~
Our class went on a trip to take photos in Heptonstall and Hebden Bridge. It was a good day out, the weather was great (freezing but no rain!). We explored an abandoned church, a non abandoned church and grave yard, then walked down to Hebden Bridge to see the culture.
It's amazing what pictures you can take on a 10 minute trip. My class went on a photo walk to Salford Precinct. This was the result!
I went to Lightopia on Heaton Park, in manchester. It was brilliant, there were hundreds of these light structures around the park. Great photo opportunities!
For my outcome (final piece of work per term) i have to do all these origami shapes. Many miss-spent hours in high school have prepared me for this!
I'm sticking them in a cooking book. The paper I'm using is images of food as that is our current focus.
The shapes i used were a penguin, a bird, an envelope, a reindeer (happy holidays), and a turkish map fold. These were very fun to make.
Hope i pass!
~
Edit: i passed!
Shutterspeed experiments.
~
Fun with glow sticks. My friends and i bought some glow sticks a while ago and went to our dark photography studio and went nuts. It was a good laugh and we developed some nice images.
Found this on the way to the Manchester Christmas Markets with a friend.
University of Huddersfield trip.
With college i went to University of Huddersfield to visit the photography and animation departments.
It was a really nice Uni and the workshops we did were great.
Here's some pictures i took on my phone that day.
