The Cosmosdex is alive!

Hello Comosdex and Tragedy of Fortuna fans of tumblr, i hope yall are doing well! aafter talking to a couple peeps i realsied most people here would have no idea of the news and goings on of the cosmosdex and wanted to fill you all in! as you may know, the comic the tragedy of fortuna has been on hiatus for many years, this is because the author kinda fell out of love with the format. as such they decided to try something new called events! these were roleplaying sessions with them as the gm and members of the community as players! they really enjoyed this, and there were many events for years! recently these events have started to become public, with the most recent one contained the reader from fortuna as their own charater! alongside these events is also a pet game in the cosmosdex world! its currently invite only and +18 only but it is very fun! theres more i could say but its kinda lentghy for a tumblr post, so i ask you all to plkease join the fan fortuna server cantuna so you can be informed and have fun with us! if you would rather not, thats perfectly ok, just message me and ill send you a link on where to read the new stuff!

The green people. Who are they exactly? Are they fan characters?

So, I rarely ever take the opportunity to talk about my OCs here on tumblr, especially the ones I've poured the most of my time and investment towards. And the reason for this is that the thing they're characters for (The Cosmosdex) is kind of a Sprawl of information / Difficult to explain. But I'll give it my best attempt;

These are The Buckinghams. They're aliens known as Drattles, which essentially are 'what if Dick Dastardly / Twirling Mustache type villain was an entire race of aliens'. Also my favorite alien in the Dex (The Cosmosdex website has an article on them -> here <-)

While they're named as if they're generational, they're actually just numbered, as each of these are Cloned from the same person. Their names are literally 'buckingham 2 - 21'. Most of these members are dead by varying means, leaving only the eight of them listed in pic. The remaining members (sans two of them) now work together as a rather prolific Mob, a literal Crime Family, as led by Montgomery. The one whom all of these people are cloned from is missing, presumed dead.

The setting they're from, The Cosmosdex, is a fictional wiki of sorts similar vein to the SCP foundation. It's an in universe encyclopedia, written by fans of the setting. The Buckinghams started out as ocs but have since been canonized ✌️

LO oc dump ✌️

Ted (Wormguy), not from Montreal but was traveling into the city when the Visitor arrived. His curse is particularly grueling for him, the entirety of his insides are hundreds of individual worms. He's afraid his sanity may slip away once the rest of his skin finally gives.

He takes shelter in the apartment complex since the outside is much more chaotic. Will try to bum smokes off of anyone he happens across.

Mack. Circus clown that wandered away from their job site. Has brief moments of lucidity, often falls back into their Clown Persona that's only a little more dangerous than usual. In moments they're able to think clearly, Mack is distressed but willingly helpful to those who need it.

Don't get too close to the stomach mouth. It acts in its own favor. Mack themself is entirely non verbal, and pantomimes to get their points across.

Bean. Friendly, sane cursed individual that hangs out on the ground floor. Yet another merchant trying to get by, he'll exchange whatever doodads and supplies he can collect in exchange for rotten leftovers. Also will eat corpses but is a little more ashamed of that than the former.

Hopes that maybe someday he'll pupate into a Fly but thus far he's only molted a few times and has only gotten bigger and heavier, which is very frustrating.
