dear El Roi,

do you see my heart? You do, right? can you please tell me how is it today? i'm in the middle of my shift when i started to have deeply invasive thoughts and i do not like it and i know the only reason i could think of as to why is my heart is not in a good place.

where am i focused on Abba? help me out please.

Surrendered

John 14:1

Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

v. 6 Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

2 days left to my current job and I found myself exhausted from doing all the processing left, transitioning of tasks and trainings for my new job. Today, after shift, I found myself just bawling my eyes out to God, surrendering the heaviness and exhaustion I am feeling and lifted everything to him. After that, what a hugggggggeee sigh of relief! ❤️

Assured, I stood my ground to continue to work excellently for Him until the last day, believing not in my own capabilities, but in God and in His amazing power, mercy and grace to sustain me until the last day.

Thank you, Abba. I bring back all glory to you, El Roi ✨💕

dear El Roi, today is pretty lonely.

Help me cope up, and help me have faith. Abba, search my heart, revive and heal every part that needs it, and help me trust you more. In Jesus's name I pray, amen. Amen.

dear El Roi, thank you for today. thank you for the gift of a brother. thank you for the gift of life.

looking around as we walk — masks, face shield, alcohols — all before-unusual-now-usual daily stuff made us realize how different and difficult these days are, but you, oh LORD, is the God who stays the same yesterday, today and forever.

dear El Roi, i praise You because You are faithful. thank you for always being there for me, and reminding me that i am not this world is telling me i am.

help me get back in writing letters to You. i have been so occupied with life lately that it fed so much lies in my head — but i praise You because you taught and is continually teaching me Your Truth about me and my identity in You.

thank you, Jesus. this is my prayer, in Your most Holy name, amen. Amen.

dear El Roi - help me manage my task

”17 Moses’ father-in-law replied, “What you are doing is not good. 18 You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone. 19 Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people’s representative before God and bring their disputes to him. 20 Teach them his decrees and instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave. 21 But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. 22 Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you. 23 If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied.” - Exodus 18:17-23 (NIV) Wow, El Roi - You are indeed faithful, caring and loving God! Thank You for Your Word! I love the verse 18: You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone. Let them, the people you will choose who are trustworthy and hate dishonest gain, handle the small tasks by deciding on their own. BUT! Before they do that, you have to make sure you teach them properly. Share the load - have them assign the difficult ones to you and discuss it further with them, so they know how to handle it if they ever encounter something similar moving forward. Exodus 20:20 Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”  It’s not like the turning away fear, like the fear that doesn’t come to God because we’re afraid of Him, but to have that Godly fear to keep us from sinning.  Father, strengthen my fear to You. I don’t want to keep sinning. Sanctify me, Abba. Help me be obedient. In Jesus’ Name, amen, amen.

dear El Roi - help me rest

Verse: https://shetrustedjesus-blog-1-rest.tumblr.com/post/648807313909628928/so-the-people-rested-on-the-seventh-day They were all gathering manna for six days, but on the seventh day, God wanted them to rest. - v26 “Hey, you can rest.” i feel like i need to constantly remind myself that. i have been working from monday night to saturday morning and then on sunday, since it’s pandemic, we shoot for the worship service that will be played live on facebook the next sunday. as i am writing this, i am reminding myself this: “rest from the worries of the world and from the worry of your work. focus on your rest day with the LORD - spend quality time with Him”. yes, El Roi. i want to - but these days, i’m struggling to do that. 

dear El Roi, please help me rest. please help me keep my eyes fixed on Jesus and away from the waves. please hold me in these times. in Jesus’ name I pray, amen. amen.
