This. Needs. To. Stop. People are being rude and immature to Ben for absolutely no reason, it’s ridiculous. Ben loves what he does and loves stagedooring, but if the keeps going on I’m afraid that he’ll stop all together. Ben doesn’t deserve this type of treatment. Please be kind. Let Ben know you love and appreciate him. Spread this around so everyone can see. Ben deserves all the respect in the world, especially when it comes to all he does for us. Let’s all attack the hate he gets with more love 💙💙

the lyrics in so big so small are just so good. there’s no fancy wordplay and there’s no overwhelming orchestrations it’s just using the most unassuming words as heavy-hitting blocks that continuously slam the audience w their simple weight & truth? like?? “the house felt so big, and i felt so small.” “and i did. and i do. and i will.” “your mom isn’t going anywhere. your mom is staying right here. your mom isn’t going anywhere. your mom is staying right here.” they are repetitive and almost childish word choices but it just works so so well like after everything that’s happened heidi will always hold evan and he will always be her baby. and the words she used to calm him down as a tiny little boy don’t ever have to change bc there’s so much truth in them. and this scene is the purest vision of a mother and son and it doesn’t need to be weighted down by intricacies that distract from this hefty love that rachel bay jones expresses unbelievably beautifully
