Cheapskate
Boris told Alice that he wasn't allowed to modify the train because of Nightmare.
Then he goes, "He's such a cheapskate. Since it's just me riding, he could at least let me do what I want."
XD Personally, I'm with Nightmare on this one.
I'd rather be in outer space 🛸

Cheapskate
Boris told Alice that he wasn't allowed to modify the train because of Nightmare.
Then he goes, "He's such a cheapskate. Since it's just me riding, he could at least let me do what I want."
XD Personally, I'm with Nightmare on this one.
Floor Cleaner
Boris, himself, also mentioned something like, "I tried making a self-propelled floor cleaner, but it went way too fast and ended up running over a bunch of customers (teehee~)" and other stories like that.
All the speed freak stories.
Point Proven
"Nah, I'm not really trying to go crazy or anything. But having speed is better than not having it, right? It's more satsifying when it's fast, right?"
You just proved Alice's point. Ah, mixmatched thinking. Always fun.
Speed Freak
Alice asked him, very emphatically, if he modified the controls, too.
Boris goes, "Eeh...I don't get why you're asking me that with such a terrifying look on your face."
Alice then replies that if he modified it, then she doesn't want to get on it. She then accuses him of being a speed freak.
I mean, it's true. Good luck, Alice.
Obvious
"...Could this train be reserved specifically for you, Boris?"
Do you even have to ask, Alice? It's obvious from just looking at it!
Permission
Boris and Alice got to Nightmare to ask for permission to let Alice watch Boris work. Nightmare's hesitant, because Alice will get lost riding the train. Outsider things, of course. Nightmare agreed, but said that they have to go and come back together. And asked if he could trust Boris to do that.
Boris assured him that he won't let Alice get lost, even when unexpected things happen. And Alice, as per usual, is just confused.
Work
Boris, after grumbling about work, cones up with the idea of Alice accompanying him to work. Alice repeats what he said, as if to confirm what he was asking.
Then Boris goes, "That's right. You should come along, too. That way, we won't see each other less often."
Cute. Just cute.
Pout
"Ah~, I just can't get into it, after all. Even though I'm the Chesire Cat, why do I have to drag myself out?"
Boris' pouty voice here was too good to pass up. He's talking about having to do more work, or really, work in general.
Pet
"Being with you feels way too comfortable. I wouldn't mind becoming your cat. I'd be happy to be kept by you."
A typical Boris moment. Thought I'd throw a CG moment out here.
Thry're relaxing in Alice's room after dealing with a big train accident and before Boris goes to off to do even more work.
Relatable
"Honestly, I don't really like working my ass off all the time."
I relate so hard to this. Boris is working more than he's used to. Even if he is cutting corners.
Doing His Job
"Got it? I'll say it again, just because you don't know about it doesn't mean I'm not doing my job properly."
"I doubt you can even say you're doing it 'properly' anymore. You've been cutting corners lately, haven't you?"
CAUGHT.
Alice asked Boris if he was slacking, because everytime she's working, he's always there, chilling in the office. He says his breaks are when she's working. He reminds her that he said he works when she doesn't see. Also at night when she sleeps and when she's our visiting other territories.
Alice then says it feels like he's arranging his schedule however he likes.
Then he says, "Yeah, I'm arranging it how I like. It's my job, so of course I would, right?"
Surprise! Part 2
Black explains what happened, and then Alice confirmed it. White just goes, "Joker told you to take a break here? He did?"
The voice acting here is top notch. Which is why this is one of my favorite scenes.
Surprise!
Black told Alice to take a break after noting how pale she looks. And how she might drop from exhaustion. And Alice asked if he wqsk taking about his shop. He effetively says, "Of course. Where else?" And she goes with him, and then we get White's lovely little surprised reaction here.
Expects Black, gets Black escorting Alice.
"Tch. If want to go to such lengths to wander around, take an escort or carry a gun."
The usual concerned line, but delivered in a very, 'I don't care' way. I want to pick this guy's brain. His behavior is so interesting.
(The translation is an approximate and paraphrased.)
Also, before this, Alice was thinking and Joker threatened to just drop her if she wouldn't stand up. She stood up and there was a minute of silence.
Then he pointed out she looked deathly pale. While wandering on a deserted road by herself, that kind of thing will happen. (I think that last part is what he said, anyway.) Alice realizes Joker had witnessed the gun fight.
Then she mentions she has to take these roads to pass between territories. And thus, that line.
First Interchapter
First interchapter. I usually skip these, but since I'm trying to replay after a long while, I am forcing myself to reread these.
Alice was walking home at night, and a gunfight ensued on both sides of the road. She needed to get away, and then she heard the ticking of a clock and suddenly she was further away. Thinking about how it happened, Alice just decides to continue home until she gets dizzy and almost falls over.
Joker catches her, clicks his tongue and calls her a clunsy woman. I missed screenshoting the actual dialogue, so here's just a screenshot without dialogue.
I miss Joker's sharp tongue, oddly enough. Let's go, Black!
Which Is It?
"Which is it? That's the exact opposite of what you just said."
Alice was visiting Lewis after parting ways with Boris, since it had been a while. Lewis had said he had waited patiently for her. Quin presented testimony that wasn't the case, and Lewis went, "Of course I was so worried I couldn't sit still! If you were the owner, you would be too." Which lead us into the screen above.
As much as I have mixed feelings about Quin, he does have some excellent moments, like this one.
