Sorry. Manners. Iâm Kai. Nice to meet you.

Kai Parker ; quote who fit the character : In my opinion, he was like, the most badass villain that i ever seen in a tv show. The one who have this power to make you love him, even if he was a sociopath looking to murder all of his coven. He was charismatic, powerful, and sassy. Maybe he was a fallen king, but he was still a king.
I put the hot in psychotic.

Chelsea rolled her eyes. âThe day I see you with a mate is the day hell will freeze over..â she smirked
He was right though. She didnât need someone to love her. Love was something for humans. Something she didnât need. Before all of this there was nothing stopping her or in her way and she could be that someone again.
âIâd never thought Iâd say this but you might be rightâŚâ she confessed. âLove is pointless anyway, itâs a weakness..â
âThe day I find out I have a mate will be the day I kill myselfâ He remarked. âOr most likely kill them!â He smirked.
âIâm always right I donât know what youâre talking about! But Iâm glad you see my point of view.â He smiled.Â
Through muddy memories he remembered a time when he was in love, love or rather Katie had changed him and when she died it made him cold. The pain he felt when he lost her was something he never wanted to experience again. And in the end nothing had changed, he was cruel before her and he was cruel after her. He nodded agreeing with Chelsea, love was pointless.
âPlease let me be witness to thatâŚâ she joked.
âI can name a handfull of times where listening to your great ideas would have ended my life..â she smirked at him.
He was right though. Maybe just this time. The other guards have lived their lives alone. Well except for Demetri but that was the one person she didnât feel like thinking about this time..
âI propose an idea. Fuck love and everything it has to do with it. If only I could use my powers and start a divorce rampage amoungst the city.â she smiled. It was true though. True love was something that Chelsea could rarely break. The loyalty was like no other. But for the sake of her mind she had to do something to focus on anything else.
Kai laughed at her joke, âIâll give you front row seats!â He joked back.
He put a hand on his heart trying to look offended. âI donât believe you! Name one!âÂ
He took the bottle that seemed forgotten in her hands and raised it in a toast. âFuck love and everything it has to do with!â He smirked. âI can almost see the articles: âTown with the most divorces in the worldâ, âWhat happened that caused everyone in this town to get a divorceâ. The poor lawyers.â
Chelsea rolled her eyes. âThe day I see you with a mate is the day hell will freeze over..â she smirked

He tilted his head a little, giving her a smile. âI knew you were a good friend!â He didnât have a lot of friendsâŚNon really, but Chelsea was different, she never tried to change him like a lot of others or punish him like the rest of the Volturi. And most importantly she hadnât used her gift on him.
There was a time when he questioned their friendship, thinking that maybe he was mistaken, maybe she had used her gift. But he wasnât never loyal to the Volturi and he wasnât never loyal to Chelsea herself so he rejected the thought.
âAfton again?â He questioned. He had met Chelseas mate a few times and from what he gathered the guy didnât like him very much. The feeling was mutual, as Kai never really understood how someone like Chelsea could be mated with someone like Afton.
Chelsea rolled her eyes at his comment. She never truly had friends outside the Volturi. Even the Volturi she didnât consider friends. Each and everyone of them, including the wives, she had used her gift on. It was the only way she could be sure they would remain loyal.
âIf only it was AftonâŚâ she sighed remembering her mate. Aro had tried to get rid of him too many times much to Chelseaâs dismay. At this point she wasnât even sure if he was alive or had Aro finally gotten to him.
âI think Iâm just going to start using my ability to make people fall in love with me.â She smirked. It was something Chelsea never did. Being in a one sided relationship wasnât what she wanted. She knew if she used her powers it would be as bad as being unwanted
Kai stood silent at first, taking in her words. Things seemed to be really bad if Chelsea was considering using her gift. âYou donât need your gift to make anyone fall in love with you.â He said genuinely. âWe both know you can get people to love you without it. You just need to stop falling of the vampire bandwagon and get your shit together!âÂ
It felt weird talking to her like that. He wasnât usually one to encourage others, the last time he had done it was probably when he was still human, but he was always honest and the words felt right despite the weirdness that followed them.Â
âMaybe not in love but at least getting someone to stayâŚâ She mused. âIt seems like everyone in this god forsaken eternity has a person. I know I donât need one but at least one person to be around would be nice..â She shrugged
âBut maybe itâs just me. Getting my shit together is easier said than done. I guess volterra doesnât run itself thoughâŚâ she responded.
At this point Chelsea just wanted someone to care. Anyone at this point. âThere was once a time I wasnât like this. I used to be a badass. Queen of volterra. Everyone listened.â She smirked
âI donât!â Kai said. âAnd I donât want one, can you imagine?â He laughed at the thought. He liked being alone, liked that no one could tell him what to do or where to go. He could just do whatever he wanted whenever he wanter.
âAnd you can be that again.â He responded. âNo one is stopping you!â
He tilted his head a little, giving her a smile. âI knew you were a good friend!â He didnât have a lot of friendsâŚNon really, but Chelsea was different, she never tried to change him like a lot of others or punish him like the rest of the Volturi. Kai took the bottle from her hands and took a large sip before turning to her. âI did leave. Went back to some of my favourite places! You know what they say âno place like homeââŚor in my case no place like an overpopulated place.â He laughed.Â
At first he had thought she was just taking a night off of the Volturi, but looking at her now he realised he was mistaken. She looked like she hadnât slept in days, which was technically true, but for a vampire that meant something was wrong.
âAre you sure you shouldnât be drinking something else?â He asked, handing the bottle of alcohol back to her. âIâm gonna be honest here, you look like a mess.â
Chelsea rolled her eyes at his home comment. There wasnât a place in the world that she felt was her home. You canât make someone your homeâŚâover population keeps the Volturi off your back.â She reminded him hoping he had kept a low profile.
The words echoed in her mind as she took the bottle and brought it to her lips again. There wasnât a place she felt as though she belonged.
âIâm not in the mood for a hunt. Humans are too loud this time of night. I donât feel like dealing with a struggle.â She mused
Chelsea shook her head. âWhat can I sayâŚanother night of falling of the vampire bandwagon for Volterras very own Chelsea.â She shrugged debating on how much to tell him
Kai waived a hand at her comment, the Volturi were never something he considered a threat. âOver population means more options. Donât worry theyâll never be traced back to a vampire!â He made sure to reasure her.
He nodded at her words, knowing the feeling, there were times he couldn't be bothered with humans but that usually caused him to be even more violent towards them, not what Chelsea was describing.
âYouâve been falling of the vampire bandwagon a lot lately... Anything specific causing the fall?â He asked. He didnât want to force her to tell him anything, but he was always curious about what was happening in the Volturi castle.
Kai took the bottle from her hands and took a large sip before turning to her. âI did leave. Went back to some of my favourite places! You know what they say âno place like homeâ...or in my case no place like an overpopulated place.â He laughed.Â

One drink too many
Chelsea drunkenly sat down on a bench. She had left Mia in Hediâs care needing some time to find herself. Nothing had gone right. Not Damian. Not Afton. Certainly not Caius. And she was alone. A thought that consumed her most days.
She had broken down every one of her relationships with men and with friends. In her darkest times she used her powers to push away everyone she cared about. There was no one left to care.
Chelseaâs mind wandered as she continued to drink dark liquid from a bottle. The clerk at the liquor store didnât seem to give her an issueâŚespecially about an ID. If she were feeling herself Chelsea knew she would have sucked him dry and left him to rot. A thought now she couldnât care about.
She couldnât leave the guard forever. Although the thought of wandering by herself for the next thousand years seemed appealing. Maybe just for tonight she could forget about her past. About how much she hurt everyday. Longing for something to fix her past. But there was no one. She was alone as usual. Drinking her feelings away
Kai walked down the dark streets of the city looking for any sign of humans. Heâd just finished a meal and gotten rid of the body but wanted more. Blood still on his face from the last guy, he was pretty sure someone was playing a joke on him, it was a warm summers night and for the first time in his life he couldnât find a single soul around him.
He was about to give up when he saw her. A smile almost appeared on his face when he stopped, realising he couldnât hear a heartbeat. He took a deep breath and immediately recognised her. Chelsea. He smirked and moved towards him when he realised she hadn't heard him, either too drunk or too distracted. He moved towards her again this time in vampire speed and sat down next to her.Â
âArenât you going to share?â He asked playfully, pointing towards the bottle in her hands.
Our love did not end in a happy end, embedded on soft roses; it was bloody and harsh and unyielding, just like a storm.

Kai shrugged at his nickname, truthfully he was soulless so he didnât mind it.
âCaught your scent, thought we could have some fun together again!â He said smirking. He raised an eyebrow at her actions but didnât stop her, curious to see how far she would go.
âOh?â Maggie raised an eyebrow at him with a smirk, the smirk only growing wider when he did not stop her hand. Moving her hand from her hair, she laced one of her fingers threw his belt loop in a quick motion, playing him against her. âAnd what kind of fun is that?â
His hands traveled up and down her waist, pulling her closer slowly. He bent down a little so he could whisper in her ear. âDependsâŚhow much time have you got?â His voice was low and seductive, and he smirked pulling her even closer.
The redhead smirked, relishing the proximity of their bodies as he pulled her closer. She untangled her fingers from his belt loops and let them slowly slide up his abdomen and chest with everytime he tugged her nearer. A quiet chuckle escaped her lips at his question and she moved ever so slightly to look up at him through her thick lashes. âDarling, I have at least six hours.â She replied before pouting slightly and yet again decreasing the distance between them. âSo what about you?â
âI have eternity Red!â He backed away from her with a playful smirk, raising his hands a little. âUnlike you Iâm not tied down by a kid!â He said, raising an eyebrow in a challenge.Â
Maggieâs jawed gaped slightly as Kai backed away from her, her jaw clenching quickly as she narrowed her eyes on him at his actions and statement. âThatâs not fairâŚâ She stated, shaking her head. Moving toward him once again, she went for his hand in an attempt to bring him somewhere a little more out of the open. âYouâre not getting away that easily.â
He moved the last second, so her hand grasped only air, and his smirk grew wider. âWho said I play fair?â He asked as he began to walk backwards, towards the main street, his hands and eyebrow still raised. âI think I am!âÂ
Kai shrugged at his nickname, truthfully he was soulless so he didnât mind it.
