I failed my practical because two of my sauces kept breaking and now I’m sitting in the bathroom crying because each practicals count for 20% of your grade and I just dropped an entire letter grade and if I fail this course, I have to leave school and I just — I can’t stop crying because I don’t wanna leave this school. I’m not a chef and the fact that I might have to leave school because of that very fact is seriously breaking me down and making me sob.

You need to calm down and wipe your tears first.

In the kitchen you either walk in confident that you can learn and master or it will eat you up and break you down to nothing.

Now, what sauces and what happened? You have to practice, some things you'll get right the first time, some things you'll have to practice so many times you'll spend months not eating it because you grow sick of it.
