2 semesters down, 2 to go... a look back
The last study update post I made was about finishing midterm of the first semester but now year 1 is done, it was a successful one, stressful and fun, mostly stressful... here is the full update:
A look back at my first year as a software engineering graduate student…
.
Classes I took:
First Semester
Advanced Object-Oriented Programming
Software Requirement Engineering
Software Project Management
Second Semester
Software Architecture and Design
Cyber Security
Big Data Processing
.
Exam marks:
First Semester, avg: 86.5
AOOP => 88/💯
SPM => 84/💯
SRE => 87.5/💯
Second Semester, avg: 75.3
SA&D => 79.5/100
CySec => 71.5/100
BDP => 75/100
Over all Agv: 80.9
.
How it went:
Ok, I guess... SA&D: since I had taken a class close to this subject, this was the most relaxing class I’ve had all year, I loved the tutorials, I was expecting to get a better mark but sequence diagrams are not easy! CySec: not an easy class, the practical parts were better, I like working with C, but memorizing low-level memory working not so much, I’m glad over the moon about the marks I got. BDP: I loved the subject the projects and the methods the lecturer used, but it was not easy, the material was new and working with data is terrifying, still I could’ve gotten a better mark.
