I guess today is as good a day as any. Because of a lot of factors including the release of Netflix stuff but, here is your reminder it is NOT and it NEVER WILL BE OKAY to write any real life SERIAL KILLERS, KILLERS, SCHOOL SHOOTERS OR ACTUAL HUMAN WHO HAS DONE SOMETHING TO PUT THEMSELF IN PRISON. It’s not only disgusting and shows you condone what they have done, yes even if in your rules you say it doesn’t you’re contradicting yourself because writing with people who promote this and write this is supporting them and what they’ve done and who they are, it supports them over the victims of their horrific crimes and shows you are unable to see what they have done as wrong. As someone who writes a TRUE CRIME ORIGINAL CHARACTER I feel obligated to speak on this. Fiction does not equal reality. I write a serial killer original character, this is different because first off, I made my blog for the fact of understanding and exploring sociopathy and the ‘serial killer genes’ as well as the killer triad. My character is fictional, does not exist, has never existed and therefore has no real victims. I am not disrespecting families or people by writing her. Writing bundy, dahmer, the Columbine kids or even the green river killer is disrespectful and disgusting. You are idolizing the actions through an inappropriate manner, disrespecting their victims by keeping their killers names alive rather than theirs and the families who suffered loss at the hands of these people. Writing a real person, DOES NOT, and I will repeat this WRITING REAL PEOPLE DOES NOT FALL UNDER THE FICTION DOES NOT EQUAL REALITY IDEA. These are real people, who did very REAL GRUESOME AND DISGUSTING CRIMES and by interacting or writing them you are promoting and condoning their actions. This is not okay. Do not do this. On top of this idolozation and idol worship idea toy are romanticizing their crimes. Who gives two shits if you have a disclaimer. Again writing it is promoting it, you’re saying you’re okay with what they did and fuck all else. Their victims deserved it these people weren’t in the wrong. That IS NOT AND NEVER IS THE CASE.
