somehow a hot take maybe. idk this feels basic to me but i think you kind of have to assume a hidden nuanced opinion under most very short commentary posts/headcanons etc that you see. it's a specific format being used that is inherently limiting cause it serves a specific purpose: provoking a laugh/emotion/image. and it's disingenuous imo to assume that it represents the breadth of a person's perspective. i think if we respect that format more and contextualize fellow fans as much as we do fictional characters, it would prevent a lot of misunderstandings
