firefly & sampo .
it was always interesting to see the vast difference in the many planets she'd traveled to . . . futuristic planets , planets full of the most strange sights , now a planet frozen over completely . . . it's always so fascinating to see the various ways of life , wondering how they'd gotten by here in there circumstances , their history . . .
what in these places drives people into lives of crime ? what was their story , what was their reasoning ? that's what crossed her mind the moment she saw a girl running from a store , shouts from inside heard as she went sprinting out , watching her run down below . . .
that girl would probably be in some serious trouble if she got caught , even though this wasn't her place to , this wasn't her planet to .
but she still felt compelled to , nonetheless , she sprinted forward and ran to follow the girl as quick as she good , but the girl knew her way around , but she had a good idea of where she went . . .
by the time she managed to find her ? there was some strange man there with her , speaking with a tone of concern in his voice to the girl , who seemed to be holding the strange item close to herself .
" excuse me , am . . . I interrupting ? " she asked as she stepped closer to the two , not sure of who the man was fully just yet , but worried just in case he was planning something with the girl , she didn't want to see someone who seemed so young hurt over something like this .

Entropy must have really been out of it. She had asked for directions to Jarilo-VI’s florist, trying to ignore the stares and cautious tones from those she came across. For a planet that sent out festival invitations through radio, they seemed really surprised to see someone who wasn’t like them. Entropy felt for any potential non-humanoid creatures that may try to visit, but she also understood the citizens. They probably just weren’t used to interstellar visitors, and the festival seemed to be a special occasion of some sort. At any rate, Entropy thought it was worth pushing through. She really wanted to bring back some flowers for Hyperion 11. It needed some greenery. It wasn’t until she was at the door of the florist that afternoon that she remembered she wouldn’t be able to hold any flowers at all.
The door was pulled back suddenly, someone running outside at full speed, directly through Entropy. It took a few seconds for her mind to process this, and when it did she jumped back in surprise, tripping and falling onto her knees. Her whole body glitched out. Ouch…It didn’t actually hurt, but it felt so, so strange. The person who had run her through seemed to think the same, looking around the city like they had seen a ghost and were adamant on catching it. It wasn’t until their eyes landed on Entropy that they seemed to calm down a little, though still looking at her like she may indeed be that ghost. “I’m sorry, miss…I didn’t see you there.”
Entropy got to her feet, still glitching slightly. She dusted off her chest, where the worst of the disruption laid. She was much taller than the person she was facing, she noted. She hoped it wasn’t scary. “It’s no problem,” Entropy said, forcing a smile. “Is something the matter?”
“Yes…our most expensive product, the ball peony bulb…it’s been stolen!” As they finished their sentence, they burst into tears, as if learning about it for the first time. They pointed at the display window, and for the first time Entropy noticed the shattered glass. I must be really out of it...
“Have you any leads?”
“I saw her! It was that girl again! Cheska!” the employee wailed.
Entropy took a deep breath. “It’s okay. I have some time, so I’ll go looking for her. Maybe we can get it back. Can you tell me a little more about Cheska?”
“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” The person started a new wave of tears. “Please try to bring it before the festival…”
“I’ll do my best. Cheska?”
“Yes. She’s a child from the Underworld. She’s been stealing from lots of shops lately, but surely this is the highest value item yet…”
Entropy sighed, putting her hand against her forehead. It was just a kid…this hopefully could be resolved peacefully. Find out what she wants, find a compromise, return the item, have the girl promise to stop stealing…simple enough. All Entropy had to do now was…find her. Unfamiliar this planet may be, at least the city was open. If this happened today, she couldn’t have gone far…Entropy started off, the store employee shouting gratitude at her as she did so. She scanned the area, not entirely sure what she was looking for. Entropy skirted the side of a building, the shade granting her a better view. This could take all day…she thought.

Firefly hadn't arrived in Belobog much earlier , at most , two hours had passed since she got here , before she saw a girl running at full speed , clutching something close to her chest , looking like she was in a panic , in a frenzy , she tried to call out to her as she sped by , but she was . . . a lot faster then she expected , her extended hand pulled back as she let out a sigh , looking in the direction of where she came from , heading towards where the girl came from , in an attempt to see what she may have been running from .
instead of something terrifying , scary , downright horrifying . . . she saw a cute little shop ? she didn't pick up on the context just yet , but things were starting to piece together in her head , taking a few steps closer towards the shop and noticing the person outside , calling out . " excuse me ? "
she seemed lost in thought , so Firefly spoke softly , as to not alarm her , it's never fun being snuck up on and surprised out of nowhere . . . " that girl that was running . . . she came from here , right ? "
luckily , instead of taking all day , it seems her chance to figure out where that girl went walked right up to her , lucky break , huh ?
what a way to spend a day .
blade & firefly .
it's very rare that Firefly ever gets to properly go out , outside of SAM .
unless there's special circumstances ? she always seems to suffer the consequences afterwards , even still , they feel like they get worse and worse over time , it becomes more troublesome to even exist as Firefly .
but , for small periods of time . . . she can forget about all that , especially when she gets to venture out , not by herself , but with one of the people she considers closest ? even if it may not seem it .
those memories are what probably are able to keep her going , those times she treasures most , especially Blade , he never seems to show it , but she knows he has a good time taking her out . . .
though he could probably see the disappointment on her face once the two learn of what happened at the theater , being told what happened , hearing the rumors of what people are thinking . . . there's a clear sadness , though she remains silent , a little pouty , but sighing nonetheless .
" Do you think . . . there's something we could do to help ? " as she asked , her attention turned up to Blade , hoping his answer would be something in agreeance .
@neverendingdeath .
PLOTTING CALL : PRESERVATION .
a lot of my focus this month will be geared towards Ronova and Firefly , so I'm very much aiming to get some plots going ! where trouble is bound to happen , it's safe to assume there will be a Firefly or a SAM there following a script , for all of these plots , except for Fragmentum , Firefly will be attending ! though conveniently , for the incidents with Fragmentum , she's gone missing ! luckily , Stellaron Hunter SAM is here to take her place .
as always , the easiest way to reach me will be on discord @/pactbound. though if reached out to here , i will try my best to take notice and reply !
Mr. Koughs Disappearance .
stealing funds for a festival is an act Firefly cannot stand to watch , if the truth is that he did end up stealing them ? Firefly won't just stand by and watch , she'd definitely be willing to team up to serve some proper justice .
Golden Theater . taken by Blade !
knowing that there's a possibility of an attempted murder on some likely innocent people just trying to rehearse , or even something supernatural -- Firefly is ready to jump into action to investigate
Cheska .
firefly would definitely try her best to assist the girl in whatever way she could , she doesn't want to see someone like her lose her future over something like this , besides , she may or may not be something adjacent to a criminal , so i like to imagine she knows how to deal with situations like this .
Fragmentum.
conveniently , firefly has gone missing for this one ! before the guards can even make mention of it and ask for help , SAM is already out there fighting off some of the fragmentum beasts ! trying to make their way towards the proper root of the problem .

Commission: Preservation // Roboball with Firefly
The Moment of Stars burned bright tonight, but Kafka couldn't decide if it was the artificial starlight or neon signage trying harder to blind her. Penacony never did subtlety well—everything glittered with manufactured promises, each lightbulb a lure for moths too dazzled to question why they were flying into the flame.
Her heels clicked against the polished floor as she passed a venue with @deathstaroverload at her side, the sound near lost beneath the raucous buzz of the crowd. Giant screens looped highlights from past Roboball matches, the air thick with sugar and ozone, cheap perfume mingling with the metallic tang of overworked machines.
She didn't have long to take it in before a man in a fitted jacket came barreling toward them, eyes wide and smile showing too many teeth.
"You two! Perfect—absolutely perfect for SoulJoy's new season!" he exclaimed, shoving a clipboard toward them quickly. "We're recruiting new drivers right now! All levels welcome, no experience necessary! All you need to do is sign here, pay-the-insurance-fee-and-tournament-deposit and glory is practically guaranteed!"
Kafka smiled pleasantly as she skimmed the contents of the top-most page, taking more time than she actually needed so the man was forced to maintain his grin as he fidgeted. The whole thing reeked of desperation and stale promises, and her smile widened by a fraction when she flipped to the next page of the waiver and the man started sweating.
She didn't bother to hide her amusement when she tilted her head toward her companion, voice lilting. "What do you think, firebug?"
Firefly kept a calm , fairly neutral expression , her eyes remaining on Kafka for a few moments until they reached the man , where she'd instantly analyze his body language , noticing the subtle details -- the grin he was struggling to keep , the sudden raised nerves as Kafka began flipping through . . . this was a scam , she could tell from a mile away .
of course , they probably had a fair idea beforehand , her eyes narrowed , staring the man down , before shifting her gaze to Kafka , a much more cheery tone overcoming her voice .
" I think it sounds like fun ! don't you ? we should juuust make sure of everything in there first , right ? " she's shooting the man a gaze , a knowing gaze . . . staring right into his soul , with a bright smile all the while !

Yelan nodded, and approached Firefly, as requested. She began to help the young woman strap on her Wind Glider, whistling as she had. Yelan’s hands were practiced, careful, as if she knew how to use them but also as though she had strapped a number of Wind Gliders on other test takers on this day alone.
Once everything clicked into place, a quiet but notably satisfied ‘aha!’ escaped Yelan’s lips. She quickly holds Firefly’s arms out, making sure the Wind Glider stretches out as it should. Once that much is confirmed, she smirks down, as a hand is then placed on Firefly’s right shoulder. “You’re all set, Firefly.” She begins to walk towards the cliffside, beckoning Firefly to follow suit.
“So, you’ve flown before? I assume through a different means” Yelan scanned Firefly, once again reminding herself that the woman appeared as a non-native to Teyvat. I wonder how she learned to fly. As the two reached the cliffside, Yelan beckoned Firefly to stand next to her. Next, she throws an Anemo Amber on the ground, and upon impact a current of wind begins to form before them. “That’ll come in handy, I don’t have to explain the fundamentals, then.”
Yelan holds out her own arms, letting her Wind Glider stretch out properly. It was such an awkward sensation, since it always felt like she had been a butterfly where she should never have been one. That was fine, though. Knowing how to use a Wind Glider is knowledge all denizens of Teyvat should have.
“So, what I want you to do is enter that wind current when it fully forms. When you do, stretch out your arms like I just did, and the wind will carry you to the skies. Then, I want you to glide over to that tree-” Yelan points at a tree in the distance, one with a few markings on it already, likely to indicate its use for the test from earlier. “We’ll do a couple of other tests after that, then for your final test I’ll fly alongside you. Since it’s just the two of us…” She begins to ponder, thinking of a way to make things a little more interesting, “We can figure that out later. Anyway, if all is understood, take it away, Firefly. Otherwise, ask me anything you need to.” She smiles, and gives Firefly a light pat on the back.
Even though she had flown before , she was nervous -- she'd flown before , many times , more then she can count on multiple hands -- but that was always in the comfort of SAM , she was the one fully in control there , she never had to worry about failure . . . but this time , she did .
she followed Yelan , talking along with her as they moved towards the area they'd needed to . " Very different means . . . I've never really let the wind take control in this way . " her eyes stared off the cliff , gazing off at the view before them , only breaking away as she dropped the anemo amber , tilting her head , seeing it suddenly burst a gust of air was new to her , but interesting .
she listened to Yelan closely , as she was the teacher for today , she wasn't going to let a single word of hers leave her mind , while she already understands the fundamentals , she has no jets to back her this time , so . . . " alright , I think I understand . . . it might take me a minute , but I think I can manage . " she took a step forward towards the wind current , though a little hesitant , before . . . taking a step in and taking into the air , managing to stay calm despite how scary it felt , but she was just floating there for a moment , taking in the feeling . . . SAM has gotten to fly -- but . . . Firefly hasn't before , there was this enamored look , pure joy on her face .
she'd slowly begin gliding forward , seemingly easily heading towards the location Yelan had pointed out to her .
remnants of paradise
firefly & baizhu .
The Liyuean doctor was new to this intergalactic business, really. The Interastral Peace Corporation, or IPC for short, gave him a lucrative offer to provide relief aid for the survivors of this destroyed realm.
It was, admittedly, an extremely risky and perhaps reckless endeavor. With Baizhu's frail condition, it would be out of the question for him to explore the remains of the destruction on his own, or even take up on the mission at all. Still, there was something in him lingering, hoping that he can at least save a life from succumbing to this fate. Even if those people weren't of his own world.
He'd initially learned of this place being a vacation spot. A getaway for those who seek a refreshing and exciting experience... What could have possibly happened for it to end up in such a catastrophic state? A targeted attack? A reckless experiment?
They had descended as a small team, with the doctor accompanied by two other soldiers of the IPC. They were to conduct a search of the destroyed establishment for any survivors and reconvene at the drop-off point. He was given a mask manufactured by the IPC, said to help in regulating the air he breathes; it's very... innovative, to say the least. Baizhu had only thought such creations were only feasible by adepti craftsmanship or the ingenuity of a Natlanese or Fontainian inventor. But, he digresses. This is merely the least they can do for him, a foreigner with no prior planet-delving experience.
Searching among the debris a distance away from the soldiers leads him to an alleyway, where a young girl stands. Her clothes are practically spotless -- strange, considering the surrounding environment -- yet still, he calls out to her, "Excuse me, miss. Are you alright?" The doctor holds out a spare mask. "I can take you to a safer location. I'm a doctor."
Firefly hadn't really expected someone to find her , let alone this quickly , she didn't even have any time to try and fake and dirty her clothes to make it seem like she'd been caught in the rubble , if asked about it , she'd have to make up an excuse -- eyes locked with Baizhu as she let out a nervous laugh , hand reaching up to cover her mouth once she heard the voice call out .
" I'm . . . I'm fine , thank you . " though she certainly wouldn't turn down the mask as she moved closer , at least that problem had been solved rather quickly . " Oh , sorry , I . . don't think I'll be heading that way right now , it's probably crowded , I don't do very well in crowded groups like that . . . " her words felt shaky , an act she had to put on -- she didn't know this doctor , this doctor likely didn't know her , but she couldn't risk being found out , not this early into it .
she didn't recall anything along the lines of a doctor showing up mentioned in the script , intentionally left out or just not important enough to mention , she wasn't sure , but it shouldn't be a huge problem to her , at the very least . " What are you doing all the way out here , Mister . . . ? "

although she had limited time in the form she was in now , she remained patient , calm and quiet , assuming that she might have not signed up proper , or her name got mixed up , but a little too nervous to say anything , nervously fidgeting before she was about to give up , going to turn away until Yelan called out .
" oh , i'm . . . " but it would seem she'd answer her own question before long , nodding as she'd call out her name , giving a polite bow in apology . " firefly , yes -- i was worried i'd signed up too late , so i wasn't sure if i would make it in , if it's an inconvenience to you , then it's not necessary . . "
she took a look around a little at everything already cleaned , throwing out an offer . " do you . . . need any help , if we're going through with it ? "
Yelan sighed, feeling a pang of guilt attack her heart. “If you would please- yes, I could use the help getting you setup, Firefly.” She grabbed a test Glider, passing it off to Firefly with a warm smile. “Don’t stress about whether you’re an inconvenience or not. This was on me.”
As the two began to set the course up together, Yelan offering light instruction to Firefly- mostly asking her to grab Anemo Ambers (after describing what they look like in detail, of course), and helping with setting up proper launch and landing spots, Yelan tried to enact in idle conversation. “So, Firefly- first license, I assume? It’s good to have one, most places, such as here, Mondstadt, forbid use of Wind Gliders without the license, concerns of the dangers and such.”
She whistled, as the two slowly drew closer to having the course fully set and ready to go. Yelan whistled to herself as she snatched an Anemo Amber from Firefly’s. “These will be used to create a wind current for the test. Anyway, Mondstadt, if you don’t know, is the Nation of Freedom, and the nation of the Anemo Archon. By proxy, they’re also the ones who invented Wind Gliders to begin with. The ability to fly with them is said to be granted by Barbatos, the Anemo Archon.”
It felt weird to give a history lesson, especially on something that most people should already know. However, to Yelan, Firefly appeared to be an outlander of sorts, someone not from Teyvat altogether- which didn’t seem all that unlikely, given everyone she had met recently. As such, she thought this would be good information to know, especially as they passed time with setup.
As they finish their setup, Yelan hands a Wind Glider to Firefly. It’s a basic one, meant for test takers to utilize if they’re a first-timer. “Do you need any help with putting on your Wind Glider? Once you’ve got it on, I can explain everything, then we can begin. Also, since it’s just us, and because I don’t think it’s against any rules, I’ll fly with you. Any questions?”
She didn't waste any time , helping her get set up , get things going again after taking the test glider , she wasn't exactly sure on how to get things set up , but luckily she had Yelan there and able to guide her into what she needed to do , which she seemed to pick up on pretty quickly , before long , the two managed to finally get things going . . .
" oh , yes , i'd never actually managed to get one , so . . . i figured now would have been a good of a time as any . " she looked to Yelan with a smile , listening along as she gave her explanations of what everything did and the history surrounding the wind gliders , staring with a very interested curiosity , which likely tipped off the fact that she wasn't from here .
she takes the wind glider into her hands , taking a look over it , quiet for a few seconds . . . before looking over to Yelan with a little bit of a defeated look . " If you don't mind ? it's a little confusing . . aside from getting it set up , i think i know what to do . "

firefly & baizhu .
although not involved within the guided tours that took place , the stellaron hunter had been present on the island , she's left here for the aftermath , she figured the IPC wasn't the most reliable to be on time unless there was payment involved , so when she knew she had the opportunity , she took the chance to suit up , where Firefly once stood , SAM had appeared , she had a vague idea of how this would go , no matter how much she'd try to defy it .
the script always told nothing but the truth , despite how much she'd try to defy it , she knew something bigger was at play here , just not what it was , so while trying to get closer to figure out what was happening , the giant suit of armor would be seen moving aside rubble , helping whoever needed evacuating get out -- doing what she could before the IPC had arrived , not to mention , it luckily also helped protect her from the toxic air surrounding the place .
head tilted up as the ships came into view , a sign to begin walking towards a more secluded area , one where they . . . hopefully wouldn't look , trying to find out what she can about the area around , doing investigations as best they could , she didn't know if anyone on that ship would be brave enough , or even strong enough to face down against SAM if it came to it .
though , it wouldn't be good if she got caught . . . so she let the armor fade as she explored the island , knowing none of the IPC members should recognize her , trying to conclude her search in private and away from prying eyes .
if there was a stellaron , or even remnants here , she'd hopefully get to the bottom of it , be it alone or with help , though . . . she probably should have grabbed a mask beforehand .

Yelan sighed- after the events of her joint Wind Glider Examination with Eula, she needed to take a moment to relax. The others were gone, and only she remained, only she stayed behind; there was an offer to clean things up as a means of paying Eula back. True to her word, with some exceptions, the majority of the exam area had been clean, and now Yelan took the moment to nap along the grass.
Yet, that moment of respite dwindled, sputtered out into embers when she heard the approach of another. At first, Yelan’s head snapped towards the approach, yet when she saw the visage of an unfamiliar girl, her expression calmed, her alertness diluted. “Hey? Who are you?"
She began to sift through every possibility, every potential reason for why a random girl would show up here, show up now at this time of evening. Then, Yelan came to a realization as she pulled out the list of total participants. One, two, three…thirty…sixty-nine, seventy, seventy-one! There were seventy-one participants who signed up! Damn it she’s the missing one isn’t she?? Her eyes widened as she turned back to once again face the girl. Yelan then looked back down to the list total, scanning the 71st name. “…Firefly? Are you Firefly? You signed up for the Wind Glider Exam with Eula and Yelan, correct?”
Her eyes gazed back at the girl, with whom she presumed to be Firefly, a look of concern adorning her face. Shit, shit, I mean it’s good that I didn’t clean everything….I’m still here, and I don’t plan on doing this again tomorrow. “If you’re here for the exam,” Yelan started, just in case she had been wrong about this girl’s presumed identity, “then if you can give me a moment I will help you get set up properly.”
Archons if this isn’t her though, that would be a headache.

countless stories of the hero saving the day , be it lone wolves , be it heroes that adventure with their friends or find other heroes along the way , some have happy endings , some have tragic endings .
so why was it that this one was so different ? suddenly hailing this as a prelude to destruction ? a sign of what was to come ? she didn't really understand it , but what she did know was that if there was any merit to the rumors spreading , she'd like to try and get to the bottom of things and help figure them out .
with these rumors in mind , she had headed off to wherever she could to find what she could , asking around people she could find to see what they could share , ending up in the Dreamjolt Hostelry , remaining mostly silent aside from the people who would pass that she'd ask , but information was . . . not very plentiful , it was rough not knowing her way fully around the dreamscape , a soft sigh escaped from her lips .
word likely ended up spreading around quick that this girl was going around asking about the " texts that sung the destruction of the dreamscape " or something along those lines .

[WINDOW SHOPPING] - You can’t miss the biggest shopping district this side of the stratosphere, chock full of any and everything your heart could desire! Stalls full to bursting with exotic fabrics and cheap bags branded with BUCCI and PARDA, knicknacks and souveniers for miles, overpriced streetfood at every corner… There’s something to be found for everyone!
Siegfried is a rather patient man, and even now he's still not used to the idea of window-shopping, not when his idea of shopping is marketplaces in remote villages, yet something about today feels luckier in a way, walking through the endless stalls with little more than absent thoughts to keep him company. Perhaps he should've been more observant, and yet a hand quickly strikes out to steady the young woman he's knocked over in his stride.
"Ah, Sorry bout that Kiddo, must be getting blind in the old ag--" It's only now he's noticing the familiarity, the white hair standing out to him as he moves to steady the both of them before he's following the gaze to the stand, brooches of myriad cartoonish insects lingering there before a thought comes to him.
"Let me make it up to ya, pick out any of these and I'll pay for it no questions asked. Welt is always lecturing me on failing to understand the youth ya see, and what better way to understand than seeing what's popular with 'em these days." A laugh, hand reaching to scratch at the back of his head in the same way Kiana does. "Where're my manners, Siegfried Kaslana at your service!"
this day has become practically overwhelming , getting to visit somewhere for something other then a mission , for a real vacation , always felt so weird , overwhelmed with the amount of things she could do ! so little time , so many places !
during that contemplating , she would walk and wander , almost mindlessly , zoned out slightly, maybe she'd get some food , stop at a stall , or -- nearly fall to the ground because she bumped into someone worked too !
" ah ! I'm sorry -- " but before she could even finish abd speak up properly , he came out with his apology first , which seemingly caught her off guard , cutting herself off as he seems to look over her , tilting her head .
" oh , no , please ! it's . . . " she drifted off as he spoke , seeming rather insistent . " ah , my name is . . . " her eyes locked onto a certain one , one yhat seemed all to fitting of an answer for her , looking back with a moment of hesitation , before pointing towards it .
" The Firefly . . . like my name -- if you really don't mind ? " although hesitant hesitant accept the gift . . . the idea seemed to bring a smile to her face .
[FIGHT CLUB] / it's not the sort of place he'd expect a girl to be. but then. . . it wasn't as though firefly was any ordinary girl. the role she'd played back in penacony——burning bright, burning out fast——hadn't intersected with his much, but just like every other part to play in that montage, she'd been invaluable. the stowaway, the one who'd had the most to gain from a beautiful dream ; whatever name she took, however many times she'd met " death ", she was still here anyway.
after himself, one could say she'd been the closest thing to a lucky charm the astral express had met at the time.
from one death-defier to another, then ; bounties existed for a reason, but it wasn't always for fulfilling. jade had been thinking something when she'd let her go, otherwise he had little doubt they'd be in very different circumstances today.
"anyone catch your eye?"
forearms lean, leisurely, on the rusted bar of the spectator stands, and he glances sidelong to the girl with a smile as he jingles a mostly-finished glass of whiskey in one hand, now more ice than the dark alcohol ringing the base. not far away, the sounds of a match ongoing drowns out most of the rest of the place: punches thrown, bodies colliding, grunts and groans of dismay and exhilaration, loss and success. he gestures at them, and the eager men and women surrounding them, gripping wallets, with his chin. "you don't seem like the betting type. but if you were——who would you put your chips on, you think?"
a familiar voice from her side , one she didn't even need to turn to recognize , even if the two hadn't properly met , she could recognize the man at her side with relative ease , talk of betting , when she finally did peek a glance -- those eyes , how many people have spoken praise on them , she wondered ? she could tell why , they were . . . certainly unique , a trait one couldn't forget after meeting eyes for the first time .
in response to his question , her eyes drifted down at the fighters , how did she even end up here ? rumors , of course , they piqued her interest and she decided to watch a few fights , see how people in an underground fighting ring would duke it out . . . nothing as grand as some of the battles she herself has had , but still enjoyable to watch .
eyes followed the fighters closely , there was one fighter with the clear advantage on the left , on the right , running out of energy , struggling to dodge attacks , yet still standing . " the underdog . " attention turned towards the one taking the blows , being on the back foot -- picking up his pace and dodging a few more blows before . . .
delivering an uppercut right to the jaw , turning the match around in an instant , seems luck was on her side this time . . . small things like that are usually decided by the script , if they have any meaning . . . it always felt nice to trust her own intuition for once .
truthfully , she was painfully curious as to who aventurine had placed his money on , but . . . " if i was putting actual money . . . i'd probably have better luck matching whoever you bet on . "
she can bet it was the winner .

Exposed hands offered the savory meal over to her. "I haven't had something like this before," he said looking back at his own as they made their way down the street. A single bite was taken and he hummed softly before looking to her reaction to it. They should get something else, he is aware. Both for themselves and their other Stellaron Hunters...but he was hardly qualified to choose such things.
Firefly was fairly silent most of the time they were walking , fidgeting with her hands , eyes locked onto all of the different , vastly expensive outfits in the stores , not something she herself would be super interested in . . . but something Kafka might like , part of her wondered if she could afford something nice for her .
eyes quickly looked to the meal held out to Firefly , eyes almost instantly lighting up , looking quickly to Blade , almost for approval , before back down at the meal in front of her , taking it carefully , taking a bite of her own .
ah , that look on her face . . . there was pure joy there , smiling , eyes locked back onto Blade , a soft laugh . . . it was always nice when he did nice things , even if small . . . they always meant a lot .
" it's really , really good . . . thank you , Blade . "
