Hello. I wanted to thank you for your kind words.
You are welcome. By the way, do you have beta readers?
There's something so comforting about reading when the world feels quiet. soft lighting, a blanket that somehow never sits right, your drink getting cold because you forgot it existed, and a story slowly unfolding in your hands. I think thatās one of my favorite feelings ever, disappearing for a little while without actually going anywhere.
Sometimes books feel like conversations you didnāt know you needed.
š Friendly reminder that your reading pace is valid.
Reading 10 books a month? Cool.
Reading 1 book every few months because life keeps throwing random side quests at you? Also cool.
DNF-ing a book because you're not enjoying it? Valid.
Rereading the same comfort book for the 15th time instead of tackling your endless TBR? Extremely valid.
Books are supposed to bring joy, not become another thing on your to-do list.
So tell me:
ā What's the book you're currently writing? š What's your all-time comfort write? š What's a book everyone loves but you just couldn't get into?
No judgment here. I just want to hear people talk about books because watching book lovers ramble about their favorites is one of life's greatest pleasures.
leaves tea and bookmarks for everyone in the notes.
I love those nights when everyone else is asleep and itās just me, silence, and a book that somehow understands me better than people do. The kind where you say āone more chapterā six times, your eyes hurt, itās embarrassingly late, and somehow it still feels worth it.
Bonus points if rain is tapping against the window and the book emotionally destroys me a little.
I love books that leave traces behind. creased pages, tiny notes in the margins, and highlighted lines that meant something at 1am. Stories feel more alive that way. a little imperfect, a little loved, carrying proof that someone stayed and felt something while reading them
Hi, Iām a reader who:
gets emotionally attached to side characters
notices plot holes at 2am
highlights lines that hurt my feelings
and absolutely lives for messy tension and dramatic reveals
Honestly, nothing beats finding a story so good that you forget you were supposed to be āworking.ā š
Writers, tell me: Whatās harder for you?
writing the first chapter
naming characters
or killing off a character you love
And readers⦠what instantly makes you obsessed with a book? š
