In Honour of Sexual Sunday: Non romantical and non sexual relationships are very important, but as it is Sunday just for now the focus is on that other kind of relationship! List a person who your character had a romantic or sexual relationship to and who actually changed parts in your Muses Life positively and negatively, their outlook and their story (and stayed in that life or left it)! How did they met? How did their relationship changed all of them? How did the relationship, if it did, ended?

Orsonโs ex. A talented biologist ( chemist ? Artistic liberties were taken ) , They were dormmates and business partners during his time at the academy . She sold drugs to the wealthier students and he provided the clientele + free guinea pig. One thing led to another and both became romantically involved. However , he fell very hard for her and that frightened him ; so he ran ( metaphorically ) and crushed her heart ( youโll see a repeating pattern with all my ships ). I believe both took each otherโs v-card too , so have at that.
They went their separate ways and reunited as adults. He became an officer of the Empire and she a freelance poisoner. Currently , both are stuck in this on-off love affair. Unsure to where they stand , they dally in-between lovers , nemesis , and allies ; both keep their distance in this little game they play โ not eager to bring back hurtful , lingering feelings from the past. Also , they canโt communicate to each other for SHIT. ITโS LITERALLY THE โTALK TO EACH OTHER OR DRAW 25โฒ meme AND BOTH DREW 25.

ย This relationship is written in tandem with my Obi ( on my other blog ). OKAY , Sym , Queen of Naboo has been secretly hiding Jedi from the Empire. Obi did not to go Tatooine โ he stayed on Naboo as her bodyguard and resistance spy. Timeline is early Empire btw , around TBB timeline. The empire tightened their grip around Sym and they sent Orson to โfacilitateโ relations ( and also to procure funding for Project Stardust ). Initially , they distrusted each other. She wanted info for the resistance while Orson wanted his funding. Again , one thing led to the other and both started to fall for each other ( Obi is so not impressed btw ).
This particular ship showed a softer side of Orson , really. They go onย โbusiness meetingsโ ( dates , ahem ) and she teaches him about Naboo architecture. He learned sign language ( Sym is deaf ) for her. She even made a special sign for Orson ! Bella ( Symโs mun ) can explain it much better than me but first you sign the O , then bear ( She calls him a teddy bear ). Dumbass thinks thatโs how to sign his name btw so heโs been using that to sign professionally ( nobody tell him ). He even lied to the empire for her once he found out about the Jedi ( also Obi is like this close to murdering him ). Ofc , I donโt allow happy endings. Vader finds out ... and well , you can tell what happened next. 0:)

Technically , Ame sends Galen anons to me and we scream about G.alennic 24 hours of the day on Disco. But hoo boy โ thereโs SO MUCH to unpack. I wrote a 1000 word essay on this ship before so Iโm trying to condense everything. Childhood best friends , both boys band together with their shared working class background and the loss of their family. I was thinking about what Galen told Bodhi ( โHe said I could make it right, if I was brave enough and listened to what was in my heartโ ). Did you know that he tried to say something similar to Orson too ? ( in the novels ) โYouโre worth more than thisโ , โYouโre just as clever as meโ , etc etc.
ANYWAYS โ this is a mutual unrequited love situation. Both had been in love with each other since they were children , both thought the other didnโt love them back ; Galen moved on but Orson remained stuck. He was dangerously attached ( hngn Jedi lessons for you ) and was scared of drifting apart from his best friend. I donโt need to tell you how this story ends. But Iโll say this , his demons were louder than all of Galenโs love.

The constant theme of light / dark runs throughout SW , even among non-force users. If Galen was the light then Tarkin represents the dark. Though at first glance both of them seem to be the absolute opposite โ but actually , theyโre have more things in common than what either would admit. Both came from a background of self-preservation. While Orson never fought in the plains of Eriadu but both spent a marginal part of their childhood wrestling a particular darkness pervading their lives. Both are outsiders among their core world peers , earning ridicule and scorn. Yet both are each otherโs literary foil. Black / white , ice / fire , full ass / flat ass , etc etc.
We havenโt wrote a lot of T.arkrennic ( YET ) but thereโs a very dangerous addiction surrounding them. Tarkin invited Orson on a date (???) to the carrion plains of Eriadu. Orson got mauled by a wild cat ( fun date ) though in fairness, Tarkin did help him and didnโt leave him to die. More shit to come ahehe. Anyways โ VANYA , MORE. FUCK THEM UP.

Ah yes , the trashfire dumpster ship. This time both are friends ( questionable ) with benefits. Physically attracted to one another โ their relationship was initially one of pure carnal intercourse. Adan was sent by Tarkin to spy on Orson , and Orson is just horny for dick ( also something something forgetting about Galen ). Unfortunately , Adan fell for Orson but the same was not reciprocated. Bad enough that Orson called Galenโs name when they had sex. Adan was definitely jealous over Galen and wanted to kill him. Btw, Marie โ I actually got a good idea , what if Adan actually killed Galen ? HMU *sips tea* , let him kill that traitor.
But anyways โ once more , this ships doesnโt end well. Well you see , Adan killed Orson. For the empire of course ; unlike the caped gremlin , Adan could put aside his feelings for his duty. Also the โ If I canโt have you , no one else can โ thing theyโve got going on. Absolutely smashing and dysfunctional. Yes , ofc Orson tries to kill him back.

So when I was twelve this lady who I called my aunt taught me how to make cookies and there was this thing that she did where she told me to put extra chocolate chips on every cookie and then told me to tell no one (which rule Iโm breaking shut up ik) but I remember I felt so special in that moment in that yummy smelling kitchen with flour on my clothes--that's what being your friend is like, its that kitchen with a family figure you love and admire. Don't let people walk all over you, your kindness is more than appreciated by the people who actually care.
