It is really incredible to me what the bcs writers have been able to accomplish. The odds were already stacked against them from the beginning. I remember when the show was first announced and a lot of people sort of laughed it off because they thought it would be a thirty minute comedy that ultimately added nothing to the world that Breaking Bad had created. So to see what the show has turned out to be is just so surreal to me...they created Nacho, one of the best characters in the entire brba universe, based on one throwaway line from an episode of television that aired over a decade ago. Better Call Saul has been able to tell its own story while also retroactively adding richness to the story of Breaking Bad, and I think it’s a real testament to the writers that bcs is even starting to make me view some parts of Breaking Bad in a different light now... idk what i’m even saying but I just love these shows so much and I just can’t believe that there are only 10 episodes of Better Call Saul left....
