daily affirmation i do NOT have a secret disgusting evil hidden within me that will some day make its way out
Mondays aren't that bad once you cannot tell days apart from eachother
The only reason why transphobes always ask “what is a woman” instead of “what is a man” is because we all know that a man is a featherless biped.
It’s 2023, women can have as many legs and feathers as they want- get with the times.
Behold! A woman!
This went really poorly for me, would not recommend.

Happy 10th anniversary to ‘Ian have you ever been on a fucking sofa’.
Cheering you on every step of the way! 💫
a lot of my autism masking is just making myself more palatable for other people and my therapist said "does spock make himself 'more palatable' for others?" and had me promise to keep unmasking like:
when applied to drinks, "dry" means "without sugar". therefore it follows that sugary drinks can be called "wet". the meanings of the terms "hot" and "cold" when applied to drinks are obvious. thus the aspect of any drink can be determined.
for instance, green tea, freshly steeped and served without additives, is hot and dry, and therefore has an aspect of fire.
a mocha, on the other hand, while hot, is sweet, and therefore wet, and thus has an an aspect of air.
lemonade, which is wet and cold, has a water aspect.
finally, the drink which most epitomizes the earth aspect, being both cold and dry, is vodka
and what if I told you nine was less afraid of love than ten. what then.
for a moment i lived in a beautiful world where doctor who didn’t exist and this was simply a seven-ate-nine joke too layered for me to understand
one of the most important things, perhaps the most important thing I have learned in my life is that nice people can fuck each other up in monstrous ways. people can be bone deep kind and loving and self reflective and still lash out under pressure. people can be earnestly neighbourly and charitable and hospitable and generous and still find themselves in situations where they become selfish. people can be well meaning and easygoing and gregarious and hold deep seated opinions that turn them into vicious little bullies under the right conditions. nobody is just one thing, and nobody stays one way. every person is a kaleidoscope and they will surprise you. you will surprise yourself. it's not a warning and it's not a judgement and it's not an excuse, and it's certainly not a reason to stop trying or to stop trusting. it is just a fact.
Everyone liked the color charts I test printed for Basilisk so much, I felt compelled made a nice version! Great for anyone that has an interest in Risograph printing, historical pigments, or weird medieval marginalia.
(buy it here)
Thank you for all the love on this one! The original print run is sold out but when my print studio reopens after winter break it'll be back. If you want a copy, look for the second print run to go on sale around late January '24!
Also, if you're interested in learning more about the colors of medieval manuscripts I recommend Teaching Manuscripts by historian Sara Charles and Illuminated from the Fitzwilliam Museum for further reading. These were my major sources when developing this palette!
