Anyways here’s some moody pics I took bc the sun (bright pink from all the wildfire smoke) made my apartment look pretty 🤩

Anyways here’s some moody pics I took bc the sun (bright pink from all the wildfire smoke) made my apartment look pretty 🤩
Sometimes I think I had a bad childhood but at least I didn’t have an iPad or parents scrolling on TikTok 24/7….at least I got to play outside….at least I got to have the best most amazing grandparents in the world…..at least I had fresh air and bugs and birds and also I wasn’t homeschooled like sooooo many kids are today….suddenly I feel so grateful for what I did have which is certainly a change of tune when it comes to how i feel about the way I grew up…
Seeing my family and meeting my new nieces and nephew made me soooo jealous and want a baby so bad but I have to just imagine little me and ask myself would I myself want to be born into a world that’s literally on fire with no bugs or birds by the time I’m 10…w water insecurity by the time I’m a teenager…w such poor air quality I wouldn’t be able to play outside???And immediately I stop even thinking of having a child as an option!!!
Fighting the urge to comment “kys” on all of Cory booker’s instagram posts
Annoyed w my sister bc if I was single and wanting to get out of fl and my sister moved to a cute beautiful blue state I would just go too but instead she stayssssss in fl complaining about it saying she doesn’t know where she wants to move….b word just move here!!!!!
Also my extremely conservative Christian “pro-life” family spent the week trying to convince me to have “my own” baby instead of adopting later in life…….🤨🤨🤨🤨
Lesson learned: do not have ur full name as your ig username bc the guy in line next to u will look u up and try to follow u when he hears u tell the Office Depot employee ur full name for your photo print order (he now knows my address too)
What’s James Baldwin’s chart…
When will I get buff enough to be Madonna for Halloween….(blond tour Madonna)
Also does anyone have any advice on how to get into reading fiction bc the only books I read are philosophical or self-help or autobiographies or essays on real life stuff and reading anything fantasy based feels weird to me like why am I reading this book about something that didn’t happen and this is all made up???!!!!…….my brain just automatically thinks it’s a waste of time….im sure after I finish school the pendulum will swing the other way and I’ll only want to read to relax not to learn but right now I feel like a sponge soaking it all up and just wanting more and more information after years of just working —> doomscrolling —> working—>doomscrolling on repeat bc I was too exhausted to do anything else and I’ve always liked self-help books so I could know everything about myself now I just want to know everything about the whole wide world and it’s exhausting sometimes like before bed I feel like I need to be reading some fantastical made up imaginary junk like Harry Potter but I can’t just reread that my whole life….
There’s literally not enough time in the day to read all the books I want to read :(

you think that you're so alone in the world then you read literature from hundreds of years ago and you realize that other people have always felt this way
