Lawfully Good = Tedros
Neurally Good = Dovey
Chaotically Good = Agatha
Lawfully Neural = Rhian
True Neutral = Dot
Chaotically Neutral = August Sader
Lawfully Evil = Hester
Neutrally Evil = Anadil
Chaotically Evil = Eric
Donât know if I have seen anyone do this so thought I would. You can argue about any of them other than Hester and Anadil, I will die on the hill that Anadil is Neurally Evil, like she wonât hurt you but she wonât help you either and the second that girl gets bored she is either rage bating someone or is starting chaos just for the fun of it. And I mean Hester is the literal textbook definition for lawfully Evil
Also sorry small rant because it bugs sometimes when people draw Sophie as Anadil like because it just makes me upset. I saw this stunning fan art (canât remember who by) and as a firm believer of hot Anadil I thought it was her because she had White hair and Skin right so I was like Omg finally someone else see my vision for Anadil and is drawing her like goddess she is. Only to my utter disappointment for me to see a pink finger glow and realise that it was actually supposed to be Sophie like it is just so rude. Essentially because I am Sophie number one hater. So for it not to be Anadil is bad enough but then be Sophie is just rubbing salt in the wound.
This is not hate to any of the fan art artists, the art is incredible and I could never do that but could we please just start adding a little bit more pigment into Sophie features that would be great. And is anyone whould like to draw more hot Anadil fan fiction I would be much appreciated especially since after that train wreck of a film I feel very little love for my girl Anadil.
I so badly want a fan fic or something where nearly everything is the same as the book but focused on the coven, with Hestadil being the main ship. But the only thing different is that at the end we find out that Hester and Anadil were behind literally everything that happened in the entire series like they caused everything.
Cause think about it, it is entirely possible that Anadilâs talent is actually the manipulation and control of like all the âNeverâ animals so like the Stymphs, Spiricks, Crogs as well as rats but just decides to not tell anyone about the other because she like rats the most and all never show your hand. And then controls the Stymphs into dropping them the wrong way round.
Now before you point out like all the plot holes here me out. We know that before Agatha good was really shallow and self centred and kinda corrupt right so it is possible that one of them could actually fit in with Evil. Also they are impressionable and easily manipulated children I personally think that given the correct environment they could turn anyone good and evil. Plus in the first book (book not film cause the film is so terrible and really messes up the next thing I am about to say) Agatha and Sophie are both very equally good and evil obviously this changes the longer they are in the schools.
As for the âbut the teaches would have known they were on the wrong schools and switched them backâ would they? In the first book they are so heavy on the the school master doesnât make any mistakes, because if word got out that it had made a mistake the reputation on the school would have been ruined and we see how what happened at the school can effect the woods in the second book with the boy girl dived. So I fully believe that if they had of been put in the wrong schools they would have covered it up in order to prevent absolutely destroying the reputation of the school and the divide between good and evil.
Thirdly the whole âyou can turn someone evil but can you turn some goodâ I think is entirely possible we see from the books that evil is just a matter of perspective like with Rhian and Rafal when they rewrote fairytales to make the evil look good and good look evil that actually once you hear Evils backstory and point of view they donât actually seem that evil. Well given that Agatha was supposedly an âEverâ in the tale of Sophie and Agatha and as we know the storian was rigged towards good we got a lot more of her backstory making her seem good when actually taken out of context a lot of her actions could be evil. I mean we see it happen in real time once people start paying attention to her she actually starts appearing more good not necessarily because she changes what she does but because people start on looking at her more closely.
Finally when we look at what Evers and Never were expecting to be at the time it is very possible that they were in the wrong schools.
Evers - pretty Damsels in distress who are very performative and believe in true love
Never - Independent intelligent outcast who donât believe in love
Agatha fits the role of Never and Sophie fits the role of Ever
The school master is corrupt he was faslitating the narrative so was ever other teachers in the school, they didnât actually care about actual good and evil, It wasnât until Sophie and Agatha came and changed that narrative that we started to get real good and evil again. Not performative. So why would these teachers and this school that was so fake and performative care about putting the readers who we know are basically hated for being readers in to the school that donât stereotypical fit.
(I am aware that that is literally the whole plot and the point of the first book but just bare with me)
But there are two characters who do care about the actual good and evil, two characters who constantly complain about how stupid it has become and who hate the fake pretty Evers and the pathetic Nevers, Hester and Anadil. They both lived in the woods both of them are fed up with Nevers losing all the time and they are both knows to be really intelligent I have no doubt that probably worked out this was in part due to how corrupt and fake the school for good and evil has become. They probably wanted to prove a point, know I donât think that they knew that Sophie and Agatha deep down were meant for the other schools I think they just hated readers and wanted to get rid of them but also kinda expected them to actually last a while in the school and because sidekicks proving that the difference between good and evil was vanishing, or something like that.
They out of everybody had the most ability to do it, we donât actually know how arriving to the school works we just know that Hester and Anadil were there before Sophie and Agatha became they were already been in the room. They could have of been there for days or even hours it is unsure but they likely had enough time to pull it off. Plus if they are roommates they have access the Sophie and the ability to convince her that she is evil helping to sell the bit. Like one of the key moments that âprovedâ Sophie was âEvilâ was the fact she beat Hester, Hester could have just let her win. After that the School master got intrested and Sophie kinda failed the rest of the year and with the help if Agatha messed things up with Tedros so bad that she looked Evil.
As for everything else I mean the witches were at the centre of everything they had so much opportunity to cause everything. I mean all it took if for like one of them to know the Snake before they went to school and then just ask him to help. Also between Hesterâs Demon and Anadil Rats they are a part of nearly every big thing that happened, and we know that they are smart. Especially Hester.
Now i genuinely also believe that while they started everything that they still also helped them like they do in the books just because they donât want anyone to know also because they do actually care.
But think about it if they started or at least know about everything that happened before it happened it explains why the Witches are never actually in any real trouble throughout the whole of the book, like other them the prison in book 5 and the ice cell in book 3 and even then they donât actually seem that scared or worried and they are both resolved very quickly.
I have said throughout the whole of this Hester and Anadil and not Dot because i canât decide whether she would be in on it, not in a the coven doesnât actually exist and Hester and Anadil donât care about Dot kinda way but in a more they actually know that Dot is too good and nice to ever willing be involved in all of it, but I do think that they would have included her especially towards the end but idk.
Please tell me someone else understands what I am waffling about because I have been thinking about this for weeks and just need some kinda proof that it is not just me going mad. It is also the middle of the night and I donât know how much sense and am making. There is also a small possibility that I have mentioned this before but if I have it bares repeating.
But I just love the chaotic witches, especially Anadil.
I have said it once I will say it again I love chaos loving Anadil who just cause so much chaos without owning up to any of it then just sit back and watches it unfold. Like yer sure some times she wants credit but other times she is just bored and want entertainment.
Also she totally does it to Hester on things involving Hester just to watch her get pissed off. Because she thinks Hester is cute when she is mad and also knows full well that Hester wonât ever hurt her and enjoys Hester being powerless because she wonât fight Anadil.
Have this little sketch I did of the coven whilst I work on their own separate posts đŠ
they're my circus u guyz
I am genuinely obsessed with the idea that Hester has a criminal record and had been to prison before going to school. Donât ask me why but I just am. I do think it is significant funnier if it was someone like Lancelot who arrested her because then that doesnât make them hiding with the lady of the lake in book 3 amusingly awkward. Not for Hester because she doesnât hold a grudge against Lancelot because he was just doing his job but for Lancelot instead as he feels kinda bad and keeps on think she is mad at his so ends up kinda terrified of her.
In my head this is canon and actually Soman doesnât know what he is talking about cause this definitely happened.
I hate Sophie. Here is why:
Sophie has the most plot armour I think i have ever seen on a character in any film and media what so ever. The only reason people think that she is powerful is because she is the main character. If you rewrite the books but removing her as the main character I guarantee that she will have no defenders.
âOh but she is so relatable and complex you just canât handle a complex morally grey characterâ
For starters if you relate to her I do not want to be your friend. Second the thing I hate most about Sophie is how the fandom and the characters in the book treat her. It is nothing to that she is complex it is because you guys call her a diva or a goddess and I am like no. No. No. She is whiny teenage girl whoâs ego is far to big for head, who has been told her whole life that she is amazing because she is arrogant and self centred and blond. She is not evils greatest hope she is not the new face of evil she is just annoying. She has no talent other than making her ego grow and surrounding herself with people who share her delusions.
She is not powerful and I know I have already said this but it is true. The only times she appears remotely powerful is when she is being helped by the teacher and the school master. Even then Hester could have totally have taken her the only reason she doesnât is because Agatha doesnât let her and because she is a little busy trying to save the school and the old heroes.
If you put Sophie and Hester or even Anadil or even Dot or Raven in a one v one Sophie wouldnât stand a chance.
Sophie only appears powerfully because she is the main character. That is a fact.
She is a big fish from a small pond that when put in a big pond is still delusional enough to believe she yer she is still a big fish.
(That was a bit of a rant so I am sorry if that doesnât make complete sense but I will continue complaining about Sophie cause it appears I am the only one doing it)
Sometimes I feel so alone with my hatred for Sophie but I will never back down because I know I that I am right.
I need a better ship name for Hester x Anadil other than Hestadil cause it is boring
Anadil and Hester are Just Caitlyn and Vi in a different universe and I will die on this hill.
Anadil is Caitlyn
Hester is Vi
I will hear nothing against it
Update any Caitlyn x Vi fic can be read as a Hester x Anadil ship if you are delusional enough. I have tested this but it does require i certainly level of desperation, delusional and obsession.
Anadil and Hester are Just Caitlyn and Vi in a different universe and I will die on this hill.
Anadil is Caitlyn
Hester is Vi
I will hear nothing against it
Headcanon
That Hester and Anadil are a lot older then everyone else
the school takes between 15-12 years olds each year and we get the idea that most people especially Sophie Agatha and Tedros are around 12/13 so I like the idea that Hester and Anadil are 15/16 at the beginning of the books. Canât decide how old for should be but I personally think she is the same age as Sophie and Agatha anyway
And that Hester and Anadil just make dirty jokes - Hester is the one who mainly does it and Anadil just understands them but it is sometimes the other way round - throughout the whole time to each other that goes over everyone elseâs head
Until like after Tedros and Agatha get married and Agatha starts to understand them which she is surprised at because she didnât expect the two people who were so against relationship to be making those kinda jokes to what she thinks is out of nowhere. Only to then be informed that they have been doing it for years.
Canât decide whether it is funnier if people know they are together or not.
Hestadil but it is thief x princess trope
Hester âleft orphan and homeless by Hansel and Gretal, not welcome anywhere in the woods forced to become a petty thief just to survive in the woods alone, because a kinda evil Robin Hood/ Peter Pan by going around the woods and adopting all the other helpless never children building a hidden community full of people just like her teaching they how to fight and steal just to survive all before she goes to school â of ravenswood X Anadil âspoiled princess who had everything handed to her and os destined to take over from her parents, but is so bored and is desperate to actually do something to help her peopleâ of Bloodbrook
Someone write is please.
Especially with past Hester x Beatrix (Hester fake dates Beatrix just so she can rob her blind in the night)
Unpopular opinion
Anadil is actually hot.
Anadil is better looking than Sophie by miles
That everyone in school for evil knew this fact and only hort actually liked Sophie
The whole of evil had a crush on Anadil like everyone. The only reason they talked to Sophie was to get to her hot roommates ( yes mates because Hester and Dot were also severely sort after).
There was a hierarchy in evil in who people actually liked and it went:
Anadil (practically everyone)
Hester (most people but they were absolutely terrified of her)
Dot ( quite a few)
Everyone else ( each had one or two)
Sophie ( only Hort liked her)
The thing is that I think Anadil knew this and actually liked the way she looked she liked wearing nice outfits and she hated the never uniform. However, unlike Sophie she accepted it and just put up with it.
That being said I like the idea that Anadil slowly started taking her uniform in so slowly that no one noticed she was doing it and just gradually made it something she would actually wear. But you know who did notice, Hester. She noticed.
I love the idea that none of the ever were aware of this. Like they never really paid attention to Anadil and kinda never actually looked at her they just assumed she was well a never so ugly. But one day it is pointed out to them and they can never unsee it.
Unpopular opinion.
I hate Sophie.
She is the worse character in the book she isnât Iconic she is just annoying and a horrible person.
It is not even like she is evil she is just not good and so self centred
âOh but she had character development and became a better person throughout the seriesâ no she didnât. She is still a self centred and big headed character. She acts like she was the hero of her book when she did nothing I mean nothing Agatha carried her. She is only still alive because for some reason Agatha actually likes her.
âOh but she just wants to find true love and not be alone like her motherâ But it okay for Agatha to be alone if she is all that which she ainât then she should have no problem finding someone else to want her.
She isnât even a good which Hester beats her in every aspect the only thing she has over Hester is that she got a fairytale and quite frankly that is the biggest outrage of the book.
Sophie is a terrible character. A terrible friend and a terrible which. And she ainât even really all that. The only person who could possibly want her is short and based on the way she treats him I wouldnât blame him if even he donât want her anymore.
The more and more I think about my headcanon of Anadil being the daughter of the white queen and Cheshire Cat from Alice in wonderland the more I love it.
The whole thing about the Cheshire Cat is that he is just basically negligent. Like in the whole of Alice in wonderland I always got the feeling that he so knew what was going on and totally could have done something about but instead just choose to watch only helping when absolutely necessary. He was enjoying the chaos and had no intention of actually being useful at all.
Same is kinda true for the White queen like she so could have dealt with half the issues by herself but she instead saw an opportunity to manipulate someone and she took it.
This is how i imagine Anadil. She does not care as long her, Hester and Dot arenât in danger then she couldnât care less. I get the impression that she isnât really actually friends with the others like she kinda like Agatha but that is it.
The only times she actually interferes is if Hester asks her too and even then it is just the rats and it is the bare minimum.
This becomes even more prominent because I headcanon that she also inherited her parents and aunts special talents because they found true love and became sister love each other that makes her powerful or something like that.
I was trying to work out what their talents would have been and kinda came to this conclusion:
White Queen: she is all powerful when ever she sings - reason being I see her as just a more successful version of Sophie (which is why Anadil hates Sophie because to her she is just a âdiscount versionâ of her mother) her whole thing is making people believe she is good so that they trust her completely but then only to find out that her and her sister were in on it together the whole time. So the concept of singing is a very ever thing and kinda goes with that idea.
Red Queen/ Queen of heats (technically different people in the original Alice in wonderland but I donât care) : human ventriloquism. She can literally control people as if they were puppets, only one person at a time unless you make her a promise then she can control more then one person, until you fufill the promise- reason IDK vibes
Cheshire Cat: evaporating - reasons self explanatory.
I like the idea that Anadil inherited all of them but just doesnât use them. Partly because she doesnât want people knowing who she is but also because she just enjoys the chaos that is going on.
I also really like the idea in ever after high that people from wonderland can hear narrators that just tell them everything that is going on at any given time.
The fact that Anadil also had this is what makes the whole thing so perfect like she knew everything from the beginning. She knew what Evelyn sader was up to, she knew that Chadwick was Tedros brother from day one she knew what the snake and lion were up to. She could have stopped everything that happened in the book but whereâs the fun in that. Instead she just used them to make sure that neither Hester, her or Dot were in danger then did nothing else.
She could have gotten out of the jail cell in book 5 but the narrator had already told her that Agatha was on her way and would get them out so she did nothing.
It is so funny to me cause I feel like both Hester and Dot knew about this which is why none of them were ever actually scared or actually in danger at all throughout the book.
I do still think that despite Anadilâs 4 special talents Hester could still win in a fight against Anadil. Anadil was just not a henchman and was decently better that Ravan and Sophie.
The reason I still think that Hester would win is because I donât think her talent is that she just has a demon that comes to life. I think she has a gardian demon and her tattoo is just one part of that. The other part is that she is immune to all spells potions and talents, which actually makes sense given the fact that the only time she actually gets hurt is via a dagger and is never actually effected by anything else. Second I like the idea that when she touches you you canât use your talents. Mainly just because I like the idea of Anadil trying to vanish and Hester grabbing her and stopping her like if I have to stay then so do you.
Most of this I did make up but it does actually work with cannon and since we donât get enough about Anadilâs personality I will have to make it up myself
