Two friends get really excited about the concept of the movie Disney Decendants but are thoroughly dissapointed by the movie itself so they make their own version of the story with 2000 ocs between them. (Also they're filthy homestucks so theres a sprinkling of homestuck characters)

I haven't sern the new decendants movie and barely remember the second one, probably should go back and watch it at some point but even if i do id probably still go 'eh, I like ours better'

John Silver in this au is something I think about a lot.

He committed to changing after the events on Treasure Planet even if he was still dodging the law for his past crimes and for his efforts ended up confined to the Isle of the Lost with the worst of the worst, saddled with a baby he didn't ask for but would die without him.

He didn't slide back into his old marauding ways by any means but to establish his own business selling *food* of all things in a place with such scarcity must have taken a lot of grit. I can imagine the leadership skills he honed as a captain must have been a part of it, but at some point it must have morphed halfway into parenting since a good portion of the people who work for him are quite young, including his son, who hes really trying to be encouraging to and set a good example for, and the Hook twins who might as well be his too what with their parents being either drunk, absent or abusive.

Its kinda nice to think that even being thrust into a fucking awful situation this version of Silver is still able to make good on the unspoken promise he makes at the end of Treasure Planet, to grow and change into the best version of himself, a man who is wilful, hardworking and stubborn as well as capable of deep and profound empathy and kindness. Especially towards the most vulnerable, like Jim.

Him and Sollux pair well together. I can very much see this prideful, irritable, put upon teenager who insults you while hes fixing your stuff being raised by someone who is insistent on the value of hard work but embarrassed to the point of being secretive about his good deeds, even though theres many of them and anyone with eyes could tell you that he's the furthest thing from evil. Especially in a place like this.

Also Kronk definitely works at Silvers. I've decided just now.

Hey, mod e here.

Probably talking to no one right now, god knows me and b didnt really touch this blog much and n is long gone from our lives but me and b never forgot this au, we've been adding lore to it between ourselves for a long long time and it just kept getting bigger and weirder and denser. Its been our thing for the longest time, this little world only we knew.

Yesterday I found out she passed away, I was gonna tell her I started reading wicked and wanted to discuss its implications for Elphabas twins in our au, instead I get a message from a friend telling me shes gone.

This au is so precious to me and now I'm the only one who remembers its intricacies, and she was so much better than me at remembering the details.

I cant do the stupid accent she did for captain hooks daughter, I cant remember all the kingdoms of Auradon she created to make the twisted political landscape make sense, she was so much better than me at speaking nonsense for the wonders, I never understood how she could make it up on the spot (I always played Dirk, the only Wonder so twisted he came right back around to making sense) I could never capture the darkness of the storylines she came up with (fuckin anything to do with Frollo was so fucked up but she *just kept doing it*) and I couldnt see the bits of good in seemingly irredeemable characters that she could, but that was the appeal, when all your main characters are villians you find new ways to make them lovable, and she did.

Still for the life of me dont know why she hated Mal so much.

I just... where do I put my love now? I still have so much and now I dont know what to do with it. To let it die feels unthinkable but to continue it without her feels so empty.

I guess for now I just hold it

WOW ON CHARACTERS! At the Tourney game we met a few. First up is Cronus Ampora. Yes THAT Cronus Ampora, we mentioned that there were splattering of a few HomeStuck Characters and that’s the first one you meet in Fic Proper. Cronus is the same loveless losser you all know and remember but keep reading, there may may be a bit more too him then meets the eye. Son of Orpheus Ampora Next up is Ethan Visser. Son of Ariel and Eric, younger brother to Melody. Life is difficult for Ethan. What with having hydrophobia as well as an enormous mer family that wants him to sing despite his protests. To make it worse, his sister went into Marine Biology while he’s just figured out that whatever he wants in the future, it stays on good old Terra Firma. Following him is Kerian Nedakh-Thatch, the son of Milo Thatch and Kida. Yes he’s a prince, yes he ages weird, yes he has never made a single good decision in his entire life. Due to..... ‘experimenting’ with his crystal and his mixed heritage he ages a bit closer to a normal human but he...let’s just say he’s not the age he has on paper and it’s a long story. Last of the new boys but certainly not least, Kuzon Apumayta son of Kuzco and Malina, he seems like a bit of a horndog and an airhead, but he’s not quite what he seems. To flaunt your royal status in a place where everyone is royalty is considered tacky, but he wasn’t born a prince NOT to flaunt it. He very much is the person to wear one of his 10 fashion crowns to school. And no, none of them are even HALF as ostentatious as his REAL crown, they just match his outfit.  And the only girl not in the movie who’s picture hasn’t somehow come up on the blog yet. Tang Ya. Daughter of Yao and Princess Mei. Though it’s not concidered common for the husband to take his Wife’s last name, Yao wanted Mei to know that he loved her enough to give up even his own heritage and more than that, he wanted his daughter to wear her name with the pride of a princess, rather than his own less than stellar family name. Ya loves both of her parents equally and has gotten her Mother’s ‘cute’ with all of her Dad’s ‘TOUGH’.

Audrey’s appearance as of Mal’s little spell and the reason she was hiding in her room for most of the summer. Audrey’s appearance changes in chapter 2 of New Kids on the Block, the second installment of Evilly Good. 

This boy is Georgie Foxworth. Son of Georgette Foxworth. Georgie and Audrey met as children when they were both doing modeling and became fast and FIERCE friends, working together to take out the competition. Ironically, Georgette put her son in the female slots to take advantage of his cheekbones. After Audrey was beat by him she trounced the boys competition. The two champions have been inseparable and insufferable since then. There is better/more accurate artwork of Georgie somewhere down, done by the blog’s resident art god Mod E lol

The first of the new kids, the four that start all of the trouble. In order Fabien Facilier, son of Dr. Armand Facilier. Geneviève Bientot, daughter of Gaston. John Hook, son of Captain James Hook, and Veronica Aquilla, daughter of Ursula. They are introduced in chapter 3 of New Kids on the Block, the second installment of Maleficent’s Gang.

Jessie Hooks pirate crew Pirate-dice Lost. The smallest crew with the biggest ship (James Hook Srs ship) that deals more in information and blackmail than the violent turf wars the other crews and gangs normally become embroiled in. Primarily because Jessie herself is strictly non violent and implores her crew to be the same.

The Hyena siblings, Sabri and Bahiya are twins and Ed is their younger sister.

Bahiya is the soon-to-be leader of the Hyena gang on the isle and Sabri is her closest confidant. Usually when someone doesn’t want to or cant fight the leaders of the Wildcats (Vixen and Nahbay) they join the Hyenas. The Wildcats have a ‘survival of the fittest’ mentality where the Hyenas is 'do whatever it takes to survive’, other than that these two gangs have a very similar culture.

Dirk (Riddle Red) Heart and Shira Yu (Shan Yatsuhashi) both aged 17

Shira grew up mostly isolated from the isle behind a very large wall. Her father did this not because she was dangerous or training, though both are true, Shira has from childhood had massive anxiety, This is partially because Mandarin is her first language and she fears what others will say about her accent. It is not helped by the fact that the first time she steeped out into the marketplace Clay English shot at her head. She did not know at the time that Clay also has massive anxiety and was attempting to impress her. It scarred her pretty badly and she stayed behind her wall. When Twin John and Jessie Hook tumbled into her garden their form was so bad that She got over her fears enough to help them, though she did so without speaking. As such Jessie offered her a spot on the Crew as their weapons expert which she agreed to on the condition that she wouldn’t have to leave the safety of her wall expect for in emergencies. The only people to hear her speak before she went to Auradon were her father, the Gothels,, Genevieve, though through a wall, and Sollux very briefly.

Due to an incident with a magic mirror Riddle unwittingly killed his oldest sister and the true heir to the Red throne Rebecca (Rain-Cloud Red) Heart. In his guilt he threw himself into training so that no harm could befall the rest of his siblings. He was trained by a wild card, a literal (Bro)Ker. Wonders will come back if killed, but if they are killed violently or suddenly their personality gets slightly altered. In his training he lost most of his childhood joy, turning mostly stone faced and expressionless. The only ones who can get expressions are his siblings, particularly Robyn (Reason Red) Heart. He is not good at Gibberish as he too quickly learns what the language he is speaking is. Once you know what you are saying it ceases to be Gibberish and it is no longer understood. As such he is the only Wonder that has to use effort in class. Most of his story takes place at the school

Cossette Frolo and Ryan (Riot Red) Heart, both 12. 

Neither of these children were supposed to be allowed to go to the school. Due to a clerical error with one of the Transfer students from the Is;e of the lost, children turning twelve before January are allowed at Audadon Prep. Previously, you had to be turning 14 before January. 

Cossete grew up in one of the four towers on the isle. Specifically the highest and hardest to climb. Her home was situated on top of a warehouse Frollo had re-purposed to be a church. When she was very young, she lived there with her two older brothers Claudio and Carlos. They got the attention of a pirate James Tramaine-Hook due to their stores of food. He would climb up the tower, steal from them and, after weeks of doing this without them fighting him back, he freed them. He carried down Claudio, his cremate Jay Jabu carried down Carlos and his little sister Darlene Tremaine-Hook carried down Cossette. James took to Claudio and the older boy joined his pirate crew as girls were not allowed to join. When Cossete was six, Claudio was killed by their father bor being an ‘aberration’ which he was not. Fearful for her brother, she made a deal with Darlene to free Carlos. As such, Carlos was put in the care of their mother Cruella and his name changed to De-Vile. Cossette ended up as one of the first members to Darlene's crew as her tower allowed her to see the entire isle

Riot is the youngest prince of Hearts. Trapped behind the Wonder Wall and separated from their people, Wonderland tried to fill in the gaps and keep the balance As such it needed a new White Rabbit. Riot fills the role as his powers allow him to be just a few steps ahead of whoever’s chasing him or racing him. Intriguingly enough, on his own, Riot is relatively slow. As such, he always plays pranks and tricks on people so that they will chase him. If they didn’t chase him he wouldn’t get anywhere. He is too fast to be caught by traps and often realizes someone has laid a trap fro him just by the burst of speed he gets. He is one of the major Catalysts of Wonder Wall finally falling. Due to his powers, he is mistakingly receded as one of the fastest kids on the isle. He is freed from Wonder Wall in order to run a race. He takes off, staying a few steps ahead of Genevieve. When his siblings realize he’s missing they use the weak spot in the wall caused his escape to bring down the wall. When cut off from Wonderland Riot makes a disturbing amount of sense-as he doesn't understand logical speaking but is very good at speaking Gibberish. He loses his language skills and starts babbling in Nonsense when nervous or flustered.

Hal (Redo Red) Heart and Ruby( Rage Red) Heart. Ages-unknown and 10 respectively. 

No one knows how the magic mirror got to the Isle of the isle of the lost or more importantly, how it ended up  behind Wonder Wall, but it did. No one quite knows what he is, not even he himself. He can’t remember anything before a 13 year old Dirk (Riddle Red) Heart looked into the minor. Once he was activated, he became a literal pale imitation. With every question Riddle asked the mirror, it grew in power and knowledge. When asked how to get out from behind Wonder Wall it was Hal that told Riddle about the necessary human sacrifice. Wonders killed each other all of the time, so Riddle didn’t understand until he chopped off the head of Rebecca (Rain-cloud Red) Heart and his older sister’s head wouldn’t reattach. He blamed both himself and the mirror and so locked Hal away. 

Of course, in a place where logic makes no sense, hiding something guarantees it will be found by the person you least wish to find it. Rage later found the mirror.and as the youngest of the Heart children it became her best friend and closest confidant. Hal used this connection to keep himself safe and hidden while he waited for a way out. Rage, who, as her nickname would suggest, has a volatile temper, treasured the one friend she could keep around, as he literally could not run away from her. As she hears his wishes to be free she remembers that her siblings go to a school with a Jinn or two wandering around. She vows to free him from the mirror, at which point he is made an honorary Red, gaining the nickname Redo. He is adopted as a Heart and trapped once more, this time as a companion to the youngest princess of Hearts.

Pietro Gepetto Cocco, son of Pinnocio

Being brave, truthful and unselfish at all times is a challenge for any teenager, but Pietro has had to walk that line his entire life, as every time he lies or does something cowardly or selfish his body becomes slightly more wooden. As a result hes deeply interested in the concept of morality, even if he has to perform it in a very black and white fashion just to maintain daily comfort.

Eridan Evil, son of the Evil Manta

The younger brother of Little Evil, but because he has low level magic he can give himself legs when he requires them, this makes him the defacto messenger and errand boy for his sea-locked family. He was raised very closely with Uma and Veronica and sees them as his sisters even if he’ll never trully admit it. He wanted to join Umas crew but in an effort to quell his more violent tendencies Veronica convinced him to join Jessies crew as her translator, but he eventually makes a name for himself as an expert tactition.

Nofoto was born with a muscular disorder that gave her weak legs and was told she would never be able to beat Vixen in a fight and join the wildcats, but Nofoto wanted to join and fight alongside her family more than anything. She built herself a pair of arm struts and kneepads that made it easier for her to learn how to move fast on all 4s and taught herself how to fight from this position, later under the tutelage of Zira herself she built up a unique and innovative fighting style that allowed her to complete the wildcats rights of innitiation on the same level as anyone else. Shes ferocious, tenacious and very loyal to her family.

All my drawings of Sollux, half Apeix (alien insect people) and half human. Hes the adopted son of John Silver After John Silver escaped from the disaster that was treasure planet he used the treasure he’d filled his pockets with to try and start a new life and to better himself, far from where anyone knew him. He tried planet hopping and helping people where he could like an intergalactic Robin Hood, but unfortunately this lead to someone from the Galaxtic Federation recognizing him and trying to get him arrested for his extensive criminal record, putting him back on the run again. The planet-wide hive of the Apeix had already been falling apart when he got there but his pursuers didnt have any reason to believe that story when they discovered John speeding away from the wreckage in a tiny pod with 3 barrels of the species extremely rare and highly sought after honey. He barely manadged to keep out of the federations grasp when he crash landed on Earth in a kingdom close to Auradon, where he might of been safe, given that after the hawaii incident the Federation had come to regard Earth as something of a prison/rehabilitation planet, but at the time Auradon was scouring the nearby kingdoms for villians to put on the isle of the lost. No one needed to look at the rap sheet the federation provided for very long before deciding where John belonged. At least one of those barrels had been shoved onto John by a frantic worker Apiex along with an egg he hid in his jacket. (the other two he had because cmon THE PLANET WAS FALLING APART ANYWAY!) Sollux hatched on the isle of the lost and spent the first few months of his life suckling on the honey that had gotten John in so much hot water in the first place. John didnt have much hope for an apiex without a colony, but after Sollux putated John came to the realization that Sollux was either a mutant or some kind of half breed, with a much more humanoid form than his species usually had. It allowed him to survive on the isle, which meant John had to come to terms with the fact that he now had a child in his care. Sollux grew up working in his dads restaurant and even if he had his telekinetic powers and the pirate knowledge and skills his dad taught him to help him survive in a place like the isle he prefered to stay out of the gang drama and keep to himself and a few allies, spending his time on technological projects and keeping one of the very few beehives on the isle. His dad explained what aliens are and that he and Sollux arent from Earth but Sollux and most of the other kids he talked to about it are pretty sure he and his dad are some kind of fae and just using a different word for it. When he was very young he became infected with a rotting virus that had come from the fruits Auradon had sent to the isle, it was harmless to humans but it caused one of Solluxs eyes to rot away until Gwen could stop it. His eye never recovered so Silver chose to give his son his cyborg eye. One night Jessie Hook (at the time Darlene Tremaine) tumbled into his window and demanded to be hidden from the Tremaine Kids for the night. Silver and Sollux ended up protecting Jessie a lot in exchange for her working in Silvers shop and she eventually adopted them into her family as her brother and father figure. This would later lead to Sollux becoming Jessies long suffering second mate on her pirate crew. - Mod E
