The obsession with Mikasa's virginity is so weird. Why isn't Mikasa, a girl who put the world above herself, deserving of moving on and starting a new life? Why should she remain stuck in a previous period of time?

I fully believe the Mikasa we saw in chapter 139 and the Mikasa in the last pages are two different people. One is a teenager who finished fighting for the world, the other one is a full fledged adult who finally gets to enjoy a peaceful life.

If Mikasa and Jean met again, they would be different people. He would get to know who she became and fall in love all over again and she would get to know him and fall for him as well. You can cherish the memory of a past love while being completely in love with someone else.

Mikasa should be let to move on and live a happy life, not expected to grieve for the rest of her life.

She also owes Eren nothing, so there is that.
